Check Out Jennifer Morin’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Morin.

Hi Jennifer, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
After my kids were born, I really was looking for a creative outlet where I could focus on the things I loved. At that point me and my twins were taking weekly trips to Disney, so I just started off sharing our adventures. The page started growing and I realized how much I enjoyed sharing all the magical experiences we had and that it was something I would love to do full time. About a month before Disney reopened I really started working hard and treating it more like my job than my hobby. It grew and just turned into this incredible place and community.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. There can be a lot of self-doubt when you put yourself into such a competitive place. Social media can also be a really big numbers game and since you are constantly battling an algorithm, it can be challenging. Now I focus on just creating content I love and not focusing so much on everything else. A lot of the challenges though, have pushed me to be more creative and think outside the box, so the struggles definitely helped in the long run.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Before my kids, I had a small photography business that I really loved, but now I’m a full-time mom to my twins. This page grew and exists because of the fun we had together and my love for photography. I think what sets me apart is my page really is a family effort. My husband helps with setups and taking pictures. My kids are my favorite adventure buddies. Even my mom helps with stuff when we go to the park. We do it all together and more importantly, we have fun doing it together. My husband has been the best teammate through all of this and I think that shows on the page.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Once I put my mind to something, I work really hard to make that happen. Sometimes I have to take a step back, but I think that ambition keeps me going. I also always try to challenge myself to be more creative. I set the bar high for myself and I think that definitely leads to success.
