Check Out Sira D’ Pion’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sira D’ Pion.

Hi Sira, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have been designing dresses since I was 14 years old. I used to design my own clothes, buy my own fabrics and give them to a seamstress to create my designs. I learned hand embroidery as early as elementary school, even then I never dream of a career in fashion. My financial struggles pushed me in that direction and in 1993 started my first fashion business in Miami up until 2014. Great memories and accomplishments working in the bridal industry as well as with local celebrities and red-carpet events. Moving to Orlando I found my inner artist, dreaming and loving not only what I do as a fashion designer but also exploring fabric designs and watercolor illustrations. My design studio is more like a sanctuary for those brides looking for something unique and at the same time relaxing art dreaming moments. I am very grateful to God for everything that He has given me even though many struggles as a child and the challenges as an immigrant and unexpected situations in life; Blessed with an extraordinary family and the reward of being a blessing to many.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life all around is a challenge and our struggles make us stronger, leaving my country as a teenager and putting all my dreams on hold was my welcome to New York City. One of the biggest challenges has been the language and working very hard sometimes overnight to achieve my goals.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Putting God first in everything I do, loving my neighbors as I love myself.
