Check Out Ramone Graves’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ramone Graves.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up, I was always into sneakers and graphic t-shirts. I was also heavily influenced by hip-hop. Especially artist like Pharrell and Lil Wayne. So it only made sense that I was drawn to clothing lines like Bathing Ape and Billionaires Boy Club. Both are pretty pricey and my parents definitely would not pay upwards $100 for a t-shirt, lol. For a while, it was hust a vision in the back of my head. 2018 I decided to pursue a t-shirt brand. A close friend of mine told me about shopify.com and it all started with that in 2019. Right now, we still operate through shopify but we do plan to branch out.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Oh gosh, no, lol. It has its ups and downs. We might do a good amount of sales in one month and the next 3 or 4 months no sales at all. Everyday life sometimes play a factor too. Between work and personal life. Plus operating a business. Marketing. It’s a lot. At the end of the day, it’s about trial and error. Determining what works and what doesn’t. It’s a crazy ride but all worth it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I do have a warehouse job but I identify more with my creative side. Me and my best friend run the clothing together. Most of the designs I drew myself. I also rap. Which I am excited about that too because I stopped for a while and woke up one day was like, “Naw, today’s the day I start pursuing everything I always wanted to.”

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
They can contact me through my personal email (ramoneg14@gmail.com) and we can go from there. I’m always open to network and collab.
