Check Out Stephanie Meads’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Meads.

Hi Stephanie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was in the cruise industry for ten years and after leaving, I could not find my passion and what I wanted to do next. My husband’s job took us to Pensacola, Florida, where I got into real estate and still wasn’t happy. Then I saw an ad for a new gym that was opening and they had a free 30-day promotion and offered a complimentary child watch. I had two small kids and loved working out but never could get into a routine because I needed someone to watch the kids. I knew this sounded awesome, and there was no excuse now for not working out. So I started at Burn Boot Camp Pensacola with the Free 30 days and fell in love with the product and all that they offered. Then I signed an 18 month membership and found myself working out every day at 5am. My kids loved coming to child watch and they offered one-on-one focus meetings with the trainers, so that was an added bonus. Burn never does the same workout twice and challenges you each day. Each person in there is part of your family and pushes you and motivates you to be your best. After two years in Pensacola, my husband and I were wanting to return to the Orlando area and started the process of becoming Franchise Partners and bringing this amazing community and gym to the Celebration area. I have met some of the most amazing lifelong friends at Burn and our CEO’s stand behind the product and the culture 100%. Burn Boot Camp seeks to build confidence, happiness, and disciplines that transcend fitness into communities of mentally, emotionally and physically strong women. Even though we cater to most women, we love or guys as well and welcome everyone. We opened our doors on August 17th, 2020, and every single person that has walked thru that door has a story and watching their journey has met so much and my family has gotten so big this year, and I cannot wait to see what these amazing members accomplish next. We welcome all fitness levels and will always have each person’s back and will help each person reach their own goals!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it has not been a smooth road, hahahhahahahah. We were set on this location, and it took a while to make it happen. Once construction happened, then something called COVID came. Well, of course that took everyone by storm and definitely slowed us down by many months. But we were determined, and I knew that it would happen and we will be changing and transforming lives soon.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
Burn Boot Camp Celebration is one of 280 locations currently in the United States. We are about transforming lives and communities through challenging 45 minute cardio and strength workouts. We never do the same workout twice, and our camps are designed within a Weekly protocol, including a combination of strength and high intensity interval training. All Burn workouts can be modified up or down, so our high intensity strength and cardio workouts will push you no matter where you are in your fitness journey. When you step into one of our gyms, you become a part of BurnNation! We have a supportive, inspiring, and motivating community. Burn Boot Camp has elite trainers that will work with you one-on-one in camp to help you achieve your goals. Our signature floating floor is a staple at all locations, helping protect your joints and preventing injury.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Be patient, enjoy every day and be grateful for what you have and how important your mental health is during this time. Having the gym open and people can come and focus on themselves for 45 minutes has been so important.
