Community Highlights: Meet Haily Dinh of Lucas Mason Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Haily Dinh.

Hi Haily, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We are a husband and wife photography team. Photography has always been a passion for us but did not jumpstart until we had our firstborn and the obsession of capturing his “firsts” that turned this hobby into a profession that we are proud of. We pride ourselves in our creativity and ability to connect with all types of people that enable us to create beautiful, timeless images with along with providing an enjoyable client experience.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There were definitely struggles along the way considering that we started our business in December of 2019, just a little before the pandemic hit. Instead of getting discouraged, we kept busy through education and lots of practice. Even up to this day, we continue to shoot, analyze, compare and thrive to perfect our craft. Our business started making progress through word of mouth and referrals. It feels amazing and exciting to see how far we have come.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Lucas Mason Photography?
Photography has been our lifelong passion. We love that our images bring joy to our clients. It gives us a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment that we are able to tell their story and capturing it through our lens, so it can be told and cherished forever. We believe our creativity, attention to detail, and ability to connect with all types of people set us apart from others. We bring high energy to every shoot and work for those genuine smiles and sweet giggles. We always strive to give clients images that they not only like but love themselves in.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson we have learned in our journey of photography is that never lose sight of why we started doing it in the first place. Being able to preserve memories for our clients through our creativity gives us the greatest sense of accomplishment.
