Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I went to Veerinarian school in Brazil. Graduated in 2001 and moved here in the US with $20 in my pocket. Worked hard for few years and opened my 1st store with $6000 in 2008. Today we have two locations and both are very successful and have an excellent reputation.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
No. It was really hard to keep the doors open. I have to work nights to help to pay the store bills for few years.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I became specialized in animal nutrition, and that’s what makes us different from the other stores. When people come to us, we can definitely give them personalized attention and try the best we can to solve their pet’s problems.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
My grandmother uses to say. You are what you eat. The same for the animals. Put them in the right nutrition is the key for a healthy lifestyle. Believe in yourself, if you have a dream, work hard and be honest, and I am sure you will be successful in anything you want to be.
