Daily Inspiration: Meet Brittany Elyse

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Elyse.

Raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Brittany Elyse was always interested in the merging cultures that blended in the city. At a young age, the basic components of commercials and product placement interested her. As a graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Media, she sought out to learn the entertainment business in Miami, Florida. With a Master’s Of Science in Global Strategic Communications and Public Relations from Florida International University, Brittany saw a lack of vehicles for innovative musicians, artists, and fashion designers to display their work.

With her experience as a Marketing and Media Intern at Poe Boy Entertainment, she worked on campaigns for, The Pretty Boys, Flo Rida, and Michael Corleone. She simultaneously began working in the radio world for Beasley Broadcasting’s Wired 96.5 and Power 96. Working on campaigns and events taught her to understand the structure of the entertainment industry. This triggered her interest in the early stages of artist branding, development, and delivery of the product lifecycle to the masses. With the belief in telling someone’s story through passion, art, and interpersonal creativity, she co-founded Wordkrush Inc. A multi-level media company that cross promotes brands and artists. Through Wordkrush, She has hosted new music, interviewed national recording artists, and produced media visuals and events while documenting each story. From here, she moves to Orlando, Florida, where she joined the Digital Media Department of Iheart Media as the Digital Media Creator for the Urban Department. She also gained interest in being an On-Air Talent, where she acquired her own show on 104.5 The Beat and Pride Radio Orlando. She is currently the Marketing Director of the Beacham Night Club and Non-profit Aspire With Us. The Marketing Director and Personality for UpNex Live and the owner and founder of B.E. Creative Media. Her ambitions did not stop here as simultaneously she is the current Marketing Director for The Beacham Nightclub in Downtown Orlando. Brittany Elyse’s overall objective in business is to educate herself with every aspect of the entertainment industry to make herself a better asset.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
To much who is given, much is required. My journey has been far from smooth, but I would never change the path to how I got here. Early on during my college years, I found it hard to find what my purpose was. I would like here a voice that today I “doubt” hold me back for along time. Once I was able to understand what this voice was, I worked hard to block it out and believe in myself. Through every interaction and company that I have worked for or created, I gained more confidence in my talents and my craft. My biggest struggle has been not believing in my capabilities, along with doors shutting understanding how to create my own door.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Whenever asked this question, I like to say, “what do you need, I got it.” I have truly taught myself layers of different industries and have learned how to intertwine them. First, I am a marketer, I spend years staying current and on top of best practice marketing tools and strategies. My specialty is in digital marketing. This is why I started B.E. Creative Media. I am next to a graphic designer and video editor. I most enjoy my creative days of creating multilayered graphics for clients. This allows me to release ideas on a blank canvas. When I complete each project, it is truly rewarding for me. I am also a Personality/Host – This is when I can really let loose. Through Upnex Live and The Beacham Nightclub, I am able to conduct interviews with National recording artists, as well as Host the number one party in Orlando every Saturday Night. The energy I receive when I am on camera or on stage, I am able to give right back. I believe my ability to fit in and excel in many industries really makes me a true asset to whatever project I am working on.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
“NO is a blessing. It pushes you to show everyone, including yourself, why it should have been a Yes.” Giving up is never an option for me. If I want something, I will have it, and with hard work, they deserved are rewarded.
