Today we’d like to introduce you to Flex E.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Flex Eats started off as me doing different food reviews, honestly. Starting out, I really didn’t want to cook or be a Chef, but in the end, it was the best thing for me. I was trying different food places and realized I was putting out more money and time with nothing really in return, especially since it was hard to get in these spots. It was like a lightbulb went off in my head and said, let’s create a product that everyone will love & boom, I started off selling sauce. Once I made my mind up, it was really time to execute and get everything off the ground. Now I’m really focused on expanding my brand and growing into opening a restaurant and getting my sauce into stores. If there’s one thing you take from me and this interview is to KEEP GOING and don’t listen to any negativity. There were so many reasons I could’ve given up, but I didn’t. That’s really important when building. I turned nothing into something and it got me here, I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For me? Definitely not a smooth road, it was like driving on I-4 at night with bad vision. I had NO idea on how to cook or make sauce properly, so there was a lot of trial and error for me, honestly. There were a lot of late nights and stress on how to market and get people to buy my products. Everything was extremely new to me and I had no idea on what I was doing but I just studied people before me who were already successful and used their blueprint. One night I got the opportunity to vend Downtown and I spent my last $400 on food and I sold about $60 worth of food that night, it hurt so bad and I wanted to give up but I just realized where I went wrong took that info and grew from it. If there’s one thing I can pass on to someone is to never give up! Just reevaluate and keep moving. Always remember, “The marathon continues.”

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in Lemon Pepper Wings. Honestly, I feel like I have the BEST lemon pepper wings out. Wingstop & the wings in Atlanta don’t compare. What sets me apart from others is my work ethic and understanding of flavor, I cook with love and emotion, and that shows in my food. I want everyone to know that when you shop/book with Flex Eats everything is made with love and pure vibes. I’m proud of my personal growth and how far I’ve come as a person/brand. I’ve met some amazing people on this journey and I want to thank everyone because without you guys, I wouldn’t be here right now. I’ll forever be grateful for it all and everyone I met on the way.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Me being optimistic has helped so much with my success. I’m outgoing and love speaking/meeting, new people. In this industry, you can’t be shy or timid. You really have to put yourself out there to let people know what you have. I’m very determined as well and I won’t let anyone outwork me so that has played a major role. A lot of people get stagnant and comfortable but not me. My mind is always searching for the next level up.
