Inspiring Conversations with Kristine Casart of Mom Vegan Love

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristine Casart.

Kristine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m the founder of Mom Vegan Love. I have a passion for life and showing people just how amazing it is to live a plant-based life. I’m the mother of 3 humans and 3 rescue beagles. Originally from Sweden, my family and I are thriving here in sunny Florida. After overcoming addiction and trauma and discovering the (unexpected) joys of going vegan, I’ve found my mission in helping others do the same.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes and no. I call myself a recovering perfectionist, ha, ha so I tend to be hard on myself. I thrived in my work as an accountant at the Red Cross before I had kids. There I had distinct guidelines and rules to follow, and there were right and wrong ways to do things. Starting my own business in the public eye is so much more uncomfortable, and there’s really no framework for what the right thing to do is. I view myself as an occasionally outgoing introvert, so knowing in my heart how amazing veganism is and how it can improve people’s health, help our beautiful earth, and save animals brought me out of my shell. I feel like it’s my calling to show the world this amazing way to live, but I get to remind myself of that often when my go-to way of being is to hide and keep a low profile.

As you know, we’re big fans of Mom Vegan Love. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
It’s my passion and joy to coach people and show them how to easily go vegan. Finding this incredible way of life helped rid our family of debilitating asthma, gruesome stomach issues, and draining seasonal allergies to name a few. Aligning with our core beliefs of love and compassion for all lights us up inside. There’s a better way (that we were completely unaware of 10 years ago), and we can show you how to get here with ease. We have a thriving online membership community, where we support each other on this vegan journey and help you go from being vegan curious to living the lifestyle with ease. Join us today!

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I feel like I’m just getting started, and I’m so excited to announce that I’m currently writing my first book with the working title The Unconventional Addict – Using the Power of Addiction to Step into Your Divine Purpose. For the sober curious, just like me. In the hopes of helping others, I share my journey through trauma and addiction to finding veganism and my purpose in life. I want to help as many people as possible channel that inner power and use it for good. We all get to live fulfilling and complete lives. Life is now, and we get to claim it.
