Meet Estefania Saavedra

Today we’d like to introduce you to Estefania Saavedra.

Hi Estefania, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
The pandemic brought a lot of bad things but also good things for me. I was going through a rough time in the beginning of 2020, had recently left my job and then the pandemic hit where we had to quarantine for who knew how long. I had started going to therapy at the same time and my therapist encouraged me to start doing something that I love to get my mind distracted. My husband was also showing me how to use TikTok and then quickly found a new passion…making videos. I’ve always loved making people laugh and just putting a smile on people’s faces, so once I started getting more views and followers, I didn’t want to stop. Every day I was posting. The more I would post, the easier it was to use and edit videos. A few months later, I had one of my videos go viral, waking up to 900k views! Then, Charlie Puth dueted the video and it was history from there. Ever since, I have loved every minute of it. The highs, the lows, and the in-betweens.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Oh, it definitely has not been a smooth road! Many people don’t understand that once you do this full-time, you are working 24/7. It’s not a 9 to 5 job anymore. You are your own boss and whatever work you put into it is how much success will come out of it. Another thing is burnouts are real! You have to take breaks to keep your mind healthy and also to make time for your loved ones.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I don’t have a specific niche, but I love to do a little bit of everything. I love to sing, I love to dance and act, I’m a comedian (mostly a goofball) and I love doing makeup looks. I’ve always loved the beauty industry but really got into doing makeup about 6 years ago teaching myself through YouTube video tutorials. Out of all of those, I do love making people laugh the most. Whether if I do a skit that’s relatable or just making a facial expression without even saying anything, it really makes me happy that my goofiness makes others happy.

What makes you happy?
Making others happy and just bringing joy to someone really fulfills me.
