Meet Vanessa Daboin of Daboflex Corp

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vanessa Daboin.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It started last year, a couple of months before Covid-19 when I realized I was feeling lost in all ways possible in my life. I did not know who I was anymore. I was not doing anything for myself or anything I liked. As a result of this, I knew it was time to change. I did not know how but I knew I was going to do it. So I did it. Just when I started to work on myself, the covid-19 appeared, and I lost my job. But it was not an excuse. I started eating healthy, exercising, working on my general wellness, my mind, my spirit, putting everything on to find myself again. Everybody did notice my physical change and mental change too. My vibes started to get a lot different and optimistic. People started asking me how did I reach that. Unconsciously, I helped some people through my experience. Therefore, I wanted to, in a certain way to keep transmitting my change to help others.

Honestly, I am still figuring everything out. Because, in my opinion, that is what life is about.” Getting better at anything every day”.

Finally, as a consequence of all of this, one day, I decided to create my brand, and I got to say that once again, I did not know how I was going to do that, but I knew I was going to. I wanted to create something that reflected empowerment, and suddenly Daboflex was born. Daboflex is created for all women who are seeking the best version of themselves, no matter what it is. Daboflex has the purpose to continue to make your search for whatever you are looking for and help you get the strength to do it. Daboflex is not going to give up until it finds a way to make you feel empowered and the owner of your life.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It is 99.9% possible that if it is going to be worth it, it may not come easy. I would say, Yes, of course, along the way, I found some struggles and, some of the ones I can mention would be starting with extremely low capital, also starting in the middle of a pandemic, as well as not being someone known in the community, besides insecurities about if I am really doing something worth it, among some others. But I got to say that we all have our doubts and obstacles, but if you insist on something that moves your heart, you will continue to see the light at the end of the path, no matter how impossible it may look. It is about getting out of that comfort zone, and believe me, I still reminding myself about that exact words every day.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Daboflex is here to help you find yourself, to remember you are worth it, to make you feel comfortable, secure, and attractive. To create a community that empowers themselves. One of our many purposes when wearing Daboflex is that your curves are highlighted, Daboflex clothing is designed to give shape to your body keeping everything in its place, in that way you can look amazing and feel comfortable while you are working out. Here is a fun fact, our logo is inspired by the curves of the women, can you see it?

We want you to understand that we are not just a brand, we are transparent people behind it. It is a really small business, I Vanessa Daboin (owner and creator of Daboflex) am personally behind every Daboflex movement; packaging, photoshoots, social media posts, Instagram Dm’s, orders,, even around three times a week you can personally find me at pup up shops at Orlando area Crunch Fitness Gyms.

It is extremely important to us for when we expand more to continue keeping our values, transparency, goals, and humanization.

What’s next?
Oh wow, this is a big question, haha, mostly because I am dreaming big. I like to think that there are no limits. I want big for Daboflex. I want Daboflex to be something that inspires thousands of people, even millions. I want my clothes to be sold with a meaning. The big reason why I am trying hard with social media and, is to help the brand reach more people around the world. I plan for the future to create new collections, partnerships and start to ship outside of the US too.
