Rising Stars: Meet Oksana The Legacy Coach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Oksana The Legacy Coach.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My whole life, I was actually on track to become a performer/entertainer. I was involved in music and theater for my entire academic career. I always had a creative and entrepreneurial mindset. The first clue that I had about my future happened unexpectedly in my teenage years. When I was about 14, I woke up one day and decided that I wanted to start my first side gig. I was going to create a beauty salon on my patio and service my friends for fun. I went online, created my first business card design, came up with a name, found wholesale suppliers, and got to work. I conceptualized the business, created promo, took a photo for the business card and totally reconstructed my patio. It was called “Exquisitely Beautiful Salon.” I didn’t realize it at the time but creating, conceptualizing and branding businesses was something that came naturally to me. As I got older, I had many other pursuits in the creative and entertainment industries. I even went to college for music. About halfway through my college experience, I encountered a tragic season that made me take a step back and examine myself. I lost the patriarch of my family, I ended a toxic relationship, and I was without employment.

Within seven months, I went through a process of extreme introspection. After my 2nd year, I decided to drop out of college and took some time to explore who I really was and any other gifts I had. I called it my purpose path. I ended up meeting my spouse later on and got married. Shortly after, I became pregnant and had my first child. During this time, I was not working but I’m not the kind of woman to just sit still. I began working on a business idea for my family. As I created content, a website, and branded our umbrella company (Tademy Enterprises), people began to take notice of my work. What really shifted things was when I created for my first client. I conceptualized her whole brand, made her website, social media content, video content and did her photography. The end result was the best work I had done at that point. It didn’t even feel like work! I realized at that moment that what I was really passionate about was helping entrepreneurs build quality brands. Soon after, I started getting requests to create branded content and websites for other entrepreneurs. Over time, the quality of my work began to speak for itself. My business, focus and my mission expanded into the entity it is today.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Entrepreneurship is definitely filled with road bumps but each one is necessary for growth. The biggest struggles for me were starting off. Building a consistent stream of clientele can be challenging at first if you’re not strategic and committed. In my case, having two pregnancies made it a struggle to focus solely on building my clientele. However, if you’re committed to excellence, you’ll always have clients. 70% of the business I get is from word of mouth and referrals, the other 30% is from online marketing and daily engagements. If you take care of your customers, they’ll take care of you. There are different challenges at different stages though. Another challenge was being prepared for growth. About a year ago, I was hit with the biggest surge of client work I had ever gotten and I wasn’t prepared to handle it all. It forced me to hire a team and to prepare for expansion. Finally, I will say that one of the consistent challenges will be adaptation. You will constantly have to adapt to changing circumstances and situations in business. It’s the nature of the game. My motto is “never give up, simply adjust.” If what you’re doing is no longer serving your growth personally or professionally, be willing to evaluate yourself honestly and make adjustments to your actions. It will keep you moving forward in an ever-evolving world.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
It’s definitely been a journey. Now that I have a family, my mentality for business has become more about fulfilling purpose and establishing a legacy. I see the gifts that I have as a tool to serve others and to accomplish what I was born to do. Helping others to realize their truest self, their purpose and to turn it into a profitable business brings me so much joy. I’ve built an entire brand that focuses specifically on teaching entrepreneurs how to live the legacy lifestyle. I want it to be the one stop shop for entrepreneurs’ needs. The legacy lifestyle is a quality life that embodies the entrepreneur’s ideal of success while teaching them how to establish the legacy they want to leave behind. I help my clients to take their ideas, talents, skills and visions and turn them into profitable income streams. This is accomplished through the Legacy Lifestyle Course (LLC).

There are three stages that I focus on: Legacy Mindset (Mentorship), Legacy Branding, and Legacy Planning. This course is unique because it’s not just a bunch of information. It teaches the entrepreneur how to create the life they want according to their specific goals and ideals. It contains answers to the questions that entrepreneurs are searching for from experts in those fields, exclusive resources, accountability and insider conversations between myself and other professionals. Our clients also get access to our legacy lifestyle community where they can network and mastermind with other entrepreneurs in the program. As they’re discovering more about their purpose, they are also able to build their brands. For stage 2, I’m proud to offer entrepreneurs a full list of branding, website design, photography, videography and content creation services. Finally, as they begin to increase their income, in stage 3 they will learn how to manage it effectively and establish a legacy with our financial planning services and resources.

Until this point, our mentorship phase of the program has been private, by quarterly enrollment and one on one but we are relaunching it next year (2022) as a self-paced program with video lessons and exclusive digital content that will be available year-round! This is an exciting time of preparation for the new launch which will be open to the public soon. Until then, clients can still enjoy our full branding and legacy financial planning services available on the website.

How do you think about luck?
I’m not a believer in luck. I believe that faith, hard work and preparation will put you in position for the right opportunity. Once it comes, you have to seize it and maintain it.

Great read indeed! I have known Oksana The Legacy Coach for almost two years and since initially meeting her I immediately sensed the pureness of her heart toward God and people! At the time I had no idea she was such a “boss” and “entrepreneurial genius”. Really made me think outside of my box of thought concerning how to flow in your gift and calling all while making a honest living. I look forward to seeing “Tademy Enterprise” being a household name because it’s true, her work speaks for itself! I am a proud friend and client who considers it both a privilege and honor to know and do business with this rising star!
