Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Jude
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always been a musician since I can remember. Banging on drums when I was 10 and finally picking up the guitar when I was 15. I used to professionally model in NYC with FORD models. I met a lot of cool people in those 3 years. Some of the dudes that I lived with were also musicians and we would spend nights just jamming & improving music together. I grew a lot as a musician in those moments. Some people I met would gig out at clubs playing rock & blues out in Manhattan. I thought I’d like to do that too. I went back home, which is central Florida, and focused entirely on building my music.
Since then been featured at multiple music festivals around Florida, performed at The University of Miami, featured on local news channels, placed music on the radio around North America/Europe, music featured on Forbes.com, performed for POTRO’s runway show in Manhattan during New York Fashion Week twice, and partnered with a hotel to film a music video/promo. I’ve also built my home studio where I produce for artists all over Florida and some in the North East US.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing worth having is ever a smooth path. I’ve had the challenges of denied opportunities, self doubt as an artist, you name it. It’s just a matter of remembering why you started in the first place and keep going even if it doesn’t make sense in the moment. I’ve come to realize that if you’re truly an artist, there’s no complete end goal. It’s a lifelong journey.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a creator with my specialties being music & videography. I produce my own music, produce for brands, and for other artists. Some of the images I provided show what it looks like recording solo in my studio as well as a session where we recorded live drums in a chapel for a rock project. I also own a marketing company with my family PGM (Pirata Group Marketing). I create videos for businesses and professionals all over Florida. I guess what sets me apart from others is my ability to connect with people. I genuinely love impacting someone’s life for the better, whether it’s through music or video, anything that I have created.
What matters most to you?
Right now what matters most to me is my son Luka Sparrow Stevens. I’m building my life around him to set a great example and so he can have the opportunities/support that I had growing up.
