Hi Kimara, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey in fashion began with a passion for creativity and a desire to help others express their unique identities through clothing. From a young age, I loved experimenting with outfits mixing and matching pieces to create my own style. My grandmother was a huge influence. She had a deep love for fashion, was always shopping, and constantly encouraged me to embrace individuality through style. God bless her soul.
In 2018, my grandmother came to me in a dream. We were standing in a fashion warehouse, and she told me to trust the process and make my dream a reality. She always knew how much I loved helping others, no matter the circumstances.
I didn’t realize how many setbacks and obstacles would come with this journey. There was a time I even paused my business when I became pregnantI wasn’t sure if I would fail or succeed. But I knew one thing for certain: quitting wasn’t an option.
How I got to where I am today is through a lot of prayer and faith. I’ve had to shut down self-doubt and stop comparing myself to others. It hasn’t always been easy, but staying spiritually grounded and mentally focused helped me push through the challenges and stay true to my path.
Today, I take pride in helping my clients feel confident and seen, blending current trends with timeless fashion principles to bring out the best in every individual.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As a fashion consultant , the journey has been anything but smooth but every challenge has shaped the brand into what it is today. From balancing creativity, to moments of doubts especially with unexpected setbacks. Despite the struggles, every obstacle became a learning experience. My challenges pushed me to refine my designs, build stronger relationships in the industry, and develop a brand that truly reflects my vision. My journey continues, but the passion for fashion keeps me evolving in my journey.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As someone balancing a career in the medical field, being a single mother, and working as a fashion consultant, my work is all about adaptability and passion. In the medical field, I focus on providing care and support to those in need, which has taught me resilience, attention to detail, and the importance of confidence values I bring into my fashion consulting as well.
As a fashion consultant, I specialize in helping clients refine their personal style, blending timeless fashion principles with modern trends. I’m known for creating looks that enhance confidence, whether for professional settings, special events, or everyday wear.
What I’m most proud of is my ability to juggle multiple roles while staying committed to my passion for fashion. Being a single mother has taught me perseverance, creativity, and time management qualities that set me apart in both the medical and fashion industries. My unique perspective allows me to connect with clients on a deeper level, understanding their needs and helping them express themselves authentically through style.”
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
As a fashion consultant , I believe risk taking is essential to standing out in the industry. Playing it safe rarely leads to innovation, whether in personal styling or building a brand. Some of the biggest opportunities have come from stepping outside my comfort zone. One major risk I took was launching my styling business without a big safety net. Not knowing where the resources and clients was going to come from. I will definitely say taking risk will always test your faith for sure! While risks don’t always guarantee success, they always bring growth and that’s what makes the journey exciting.”
