Isil, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was suffering with acne growing up. I used a product which helped my skin for years but then it stopped working on my skin. Throughout my life time my skin would be nice and clear and then it would start acting up again. It finally got to a point that nothing was working for me. It was hurting my confidence, my look and I was embarrassed to socialize. I started getting skin treatments every 4 weeks but I did not know which products to use and buy. It was also really starting to hurt my budget at the time. So in 2018, I decided to go back to school to learn about skin to help repair my skin. I ended up taking a very advance class for 6 months with both programs skin care, Laser hair removal and electrolysis while I was working full time. But nothing comes easy right !! I was so determined. During the school. My skin was getting better and I realized I really enjoy skin care and performing facials, helping others skin look good and feel good. I also kept taking Continuing educational courses about other skin treatments on the side to expand my knowledge as fast as possible. Everything was working out for me. I decided to open my own studio immediately after school While I was still working full time however that did not last too long shortly after I realized I needed to invest my full time and energy to do what I love. in 2019 I became full time in my Business and since then I have been helping so many clients for their skin and body as well as Electroysis permanent hair removal. I did not know how many women suffered from facial hair growth until then. But I’m extremely happy to be able help everyone to make them feel good and look great.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have to say while covid in 2019 which was shorty after I opened my business
I had to close down due to covid and I did not know what was going to happen and when I was going to be back open. I just had to stay positive and do what I can, focus on myself and wellbeing. I was able to open back up 1 month later. Im so grateful that all of my clients rebooked and business has been going strong since
