Hi Tessa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I graduated University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. After graduation, I studied for the Bar Exam and went from living in Coral Gables to Orlando due to my husband’s post-graduate job opportunity. We studied for the Bar Exam together in our apartment in downtown Orlando; and ultimately, we became licensed attorneys on our first try.
I began my career as an attorney practicing civil litigation. I had some amazing mentors and met many great people that helped shape me into the person and attorney I am today. Litigation was rewarding, but I had a deeper desire to help people avoid problems and legal disputes. Lawsuits are filled with problems that have already came to fruition. I wanted to use my legal skills to help clients reduce legal risk and prevent future problems from arising, while meeting their personal and business objectives.
After practicing in civil litigation for three years during law school and five years as an attorney after graduating, and representing hundreds of clients (both businesses of varying sizes and individuals), I decided to take what I had learned over the past eight years to embark on my next journey: launching a transactional law firm to help individuals and businesses reduce legal risk, with a focus on helping them meet their personal and business objectives.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The phrase “man plans, and God laughs” comes to mind. I can say the journey has not always gone as I expected, but it is ultimately all for the best.
It’s funny how life turns out better than you could ever plan or imagine. For that, I am always thanking God. I am also grateful for those who love me most for always being by my side through it all.

My law firm is dedicated to representing individuals, businesses, and entertainers throughout the state of Florida. I bring a personable and professional approach to my work. I understand that law can be daunting, and it is my goal to make it as accessible and simple as possible. I want my clients to feel like they are represented by someone who truly cares about them and their needs.
My work is focused on drafting contracts (of all types) and legal compliance.

Since starting the Dean Legal Solutions, PLLC brand, I think I am most proud when I see the positive impact I have on my clients. I recently had a client begin an introduction meeting with me with a lot of potential issues and unknowns their business was facing. By the end of the meeting, we created a game plan to tackle each issue. The client told me they were at ease and felt as though they were legally protected.
From personal contracts to professional contracts, I want my clients to think of me as their point of contact. I like to stray away from complicated legal language; instead, I focus on discussing what is needed in practical terms.
