Today we’d like to introduce you to Lawrenzo Jacobs.
Hi Lawrenzo, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve been in sales all my life since I came out my mama’s room that’s the ongoing truth and joke. Since I enjoyed English as a youngster and I always have heard that I have The gift of gab also known as the gift of Gabriel I use a form of conversational magic to represent products and services for my direct marketing and sales business. It was around 2011 I realized that I was more than just one word entrepreneurial pin down, but aware that my best niche was in marketing advertising and selling yourself. So I made that into a business and have been doing so ever since
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Creating something new and or having an idea that is not as dominant in the mainstream as other business service ideas would be number one challenge. Getting my imaginations and ideas into words that are as impactful to the person that’s asking a question, “what is my business?” has been most challenging. So I ask the best questions to get the best answers for future business endeavors.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
So I would say overall my work is just being a people person. Interacting in real life most often in authentic and genuine way about products and services that I represent. So during the day I am a personal trainer for Planet Fitness, where I’m always selling the idea that one more rep one more set will get you closer to the aesthetic goals that you’re looking for as a client. So being well-rounded well cultured and being able to use my words in an influential way is important to grow the fitness club and community there are Planet Fitness. I also specialize in direct marketing and sales so when it comes to face to face person to person interaction I would personally say I’ve mastered that. I can accept a “no” with a smile and appreciate all yes as looking forward to more Network opportunity in the future. I am most proud of my accomplishments from closing a deal most recently with Planet Fitness. Also my previous place of business with icon Park in Orlando area provided me the ability to represent products and services for those on vacation looking for restaurants and entertainment. And just My overall body of work even the small Mom and Pop Auto service business that I created oil change and tire rotation certificates for potential customers to receive discounts on. The main thing that sets me apart from others, especially in 2025, is that being confident to talk to people eye to eye face to face out in public creating a stranger into a friend is a lost art that I’ve mastered. I’ve mastered it to the point that I can create a substantial amount of income and revenue and profit for myself and now I’m at the point that I’m teaching other youngsters in the community from the ages of 13 to 23 and how to use the same power of influence negotiation and sales for their benefit. And I’m looking forward to what in the future is going to hold in my new business relationships as well as my personal.
Any big plans?
So although I still use my foundational way of marketing and sales which is direct to the customer consumer I am currently learning more of marketing advertising and sales online. Being more of a content creator and helping those in an outside of my household through the learning curve that I’m personally experiencing in real time. So with this demonstration I’m showing people what it takes to create something from nothing
