Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Grason.
Hi Christina, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve lived in Central Florida my whole life, so theme parks were basically my backyard growing up. Weekend trips to the parks were just a normal part of life. My dad actually worked on the Jaws ride as a hydraulic tech back in 1993, but after a serious accident on the job—one that nearly cost him his life—he transitioned to becoming the technical coordinator for Jurassic Park at the newly built Islands of Adventure. So while other people came here for vacation, I was just a kid playing where the magic happened.
My journey as an influencer started about 10 years ago when I opened a small Etsy shop selling handmade, theme park-inspired goodies. As a young mom, I naturally connected with other moms who shared the same love for theme parks, and that’s really where my community started to grow. But after having my second child, my priorities shifted. I decided to close my shop and focus completely on being a full-time homeschooling mom.
That break from selling gave me the chance to pour my energy into sharing our family’s adventures in a different way—just for fun at first, but it eventually turned into something much bigger. And now, here I am, doing what I love, helping families make the most of their time together while exploring all the fun Florida has to offer!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Of course, there have been struggles along the way! I’ve always prided myself on being vulnerable and honest—it’s what makes my followers feel truly connected to my story. I’m not afraid to be real and raw with them.
When we started this journey 10 years ago, the word ‘influencer’ felt so bizarre to me. Back then, I saw it as this cringy popularity contest, and I wanted no part of it. My only goal was to spread love, light, and joy—simple. But things got complicated when we’d visit theme parks and started getting recognized. I vividly remember a moment that really shook me—I was just trying to grocery shop at my local store (which, of course, was near Disney), no makeup, hair a mess, cranky toddler in tow, and suddenly, I was being stopped for photos. It caught me off guard. I didn’t want to seem rude by saying no, but I also wasn’t comfortable with that ‘local celebrity’ feeling. At the time, I didn’t fully understand what being an influencer meant, so it just felt awkward and weird.
So, what did we do? We moved to the beach for five years where no one knew who we were! Haha! It was a season for our family to step away from the noise of social media and really figure out who we were—without the pressure of comparison.
We moved back to Central Florida a year ago, and honestly, I feel like I’ve grown so much. I don’t see things the way I did back then. I’ve found a sense of maturity and independence that allows me to embrace this journey in a whole new way.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As I step back into the influencer space with a fresh perspective, my focus is crystal clear—creating content and products that are completely unique to me and my little family. My main goal is to bring joy straight into our followers’ homes and lives in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.
I’ve got some really exciting things in the works that I’m not quite ready to share just yet, but I can say this—it’s all aligned with what we’re most passionate about. I hope to inspire homeschooling families everywhere, but especially here in the Sunshine State!
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is creating meaningful experiences with my family and helping others do the same. At the end of the day, it’s not about numbers, trends, or even the places we go—it’s about the memories we make and the joy we bring into our everyday lives.
I’ve always believed in the power of connection, whether it’s through homeschooling, exploring theme parks, or simply sharing real and honest moments. That’s why I focus on creating content that feels personal and inspiring, something that brings happiness into people’s homes and helps families make the most of their time together.
Life moves fast, and I never want to take these moments for granted. If I can encourage even one family to slow down, be present, and embrace the adventure in front of them, then I know I’m doing something that truly matters.
