Check Out Asia Scurry’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Asia Scurry.

Hi Asia , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hazee Branding really started as just me playing around with graphics back in 2019. I didn’t go into it thinking it would become a full business, I was just genuinely interested in design and loved creating things for myself and a few friends. But in 2020, when the world kind of hit pause, I decided to really lean into it and take it seriously. That’s when I started investing time into learning more about branding, understanding my style, and figuring out what kind of clients I wanted to serve.

At first, I was all over the place with pricing and services, just trying to get my name out there. Over time, I realized I had a real passion for helping Financial, beauty and lifestyle brands bring their vision to life in a way that feels bold, clean, and intentional. That’s what pushed me to officially build Hazee Branding Co.

It’s been a journey of trial, error, and growth. I’ve made mistakes, had major wins, and really learned how to serve my clients in a way that’s both creative and strategic. Today, I’m proud to say Hazee Branding Co isn’t just a design service, it’s a full experience for business owners who want to be seen, remembered, and taken seriously. I offer Graphic Design for marketing material, Branding Strategies, Photography and Videography services as well as Social media marketing.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not a smooth road and honestly, I don’t think building anything worthwhile ever is. There were times in the beginning where I doubted myself a lot. Imposter syndrome would creep in heavy, especially when I’d see other designers who seemed like they had it all figured out. I also had to learn how to balance the creative side with the business side, and that was a big shift for me. You can be super talented, but if you don’t understand pricing, boundaries, or how to communicate with clients, it can get overwhelming fast. Another struggle was just getting people to take me seriously at first. When you’re starting out, especially in the creative space, people sometimes expect you to work for free or don’t really value your time or process. I had to grow confident in saying no, in setting my worth, and in constantly improving my craft.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At Hazee Branding Co, I specialize in visual branding everything from logos and brand identity packages to flyers, websites, and branded photoshoots. I work mainly with beauty, lifestyle, and service-based entrepreneurs who want to show up professionally online and attract the kind of clients that actually get their vision.

What I’m most known for is clean, bold, eye-catching design that feels elevated but still relatable. I’m not just here to make things look pretty, I actually care about strategy and creating a brand presence that tells a story and connects with people. My clients come to me because they’re tired of blending in, and they want something that feels custom, creative, and aligned.

What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients have in me. I’ve had people come back time and time again because they feel seen, understood, and empowered after working with me and that means everything. I’ve helped people launch brands from scratch, rebrand completely, and even hit major income goals because their visuals finally matched their value.

What sets Hazee Branding apart is that I don’t just deliver files, I deliver clarity and confidence. I take time to understand the person behind the brand, and I treat every project like it’s my own. There’s real heart and intention behind what I do, and I think that’s what keeps people coming back.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is riding around in the car with my mom, just the two of us, listening to music and singing like we were in our own little concert. It wasn’t anything fancy, just those everyday moments where we’d stop for snacks, talk about life, or laugh at something random. My mom has always had this warm, comforting energy, and those drives felt like peace. No stress, no pressure, just good vibes, good music, and time with her. Looking back, it’s those simple memories that mean the most. She passed November 2nd 2021 and this memory is the one that really mattered to me.
