Meet Toni German of Toni Bella wax & Esthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Toni German.

Hi Toni, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Toni Bella Wax & Esthetics because I’ve always had a love and passion for making people—especially women, but men too—look and feel their absolute best. Confidence is everything, and being able to help someone feel good in their own skin is truly what drives me.

My journey began back in 2016, shortly after I had my daughter. I took a lash course and started doing lashes from home. At the time, I was just a girl who loved beauty—brows, lashes, lip gloss. I always kept up with those things. Even though I’m not much of a makeup girly, I loved watching makeup tutorials. It was just something that always fascinated me.

In 2018 I graduated from Columbia college with my associates degree in business management with a minor in accounting.

After I had my second son in 2019, I decided to take things more seriously and went to esthetics school to get fully licensed. I wanted to be able to work outside of my home and truly grow as a professional. And honestly, because I’ve never been big on makeup myself, I was drawn to skincare. I wanted to help people love their skin and feel confident with or without makeup.

That’s when COVID hit. It made school really difficult—we were limited with what we could do both in and out of class. But that’s also when I fell in love with waxing and skincare.

I won’t lie—my journey wasn’t perfect. I ran into some legal trouble while I was in school, and it delayed me from getting my license for about six months after I graduated. But by the grace of God, I made it through. At that point, I was a mom of three with no other job, just trying to find my way. It was hard, but I had an amazing support system—my partner, my family, my friends—they all held me down and helped me push through.

In 2021, I went back to school to take an advanced esthetics course because I wanted to really understand more advanced skin treatments and be able to transform my clients’ skin even more.

Then, in 2024, I had my fourth baby—my son. That pregnancy came with a lot of medical complications. I had constant doctor visits and ended up having complications during labor, too. It definitely set me back a bit in my business because I had to take time to heal and couldn’t get back to work right away.

But now, here in 2025, I’m in such a beautiful space—literally and figuratively. My business has grown, I’m in a gorgeous new location that my clients love, and I feel stronger than ever.

Right now, I offer waxing, facials, lashes, brow lamination, and body contouring. I’m also trained in brow tint, teeth whitening, and needleless lip fillers. But what really sets me apart is how much I care. I truly care about my clients. For me, it’s not just about the money. I want every single client to leave feeling happy, confident, and loved. That’s what makes my business special.

If I had to give advice to anyone starting out, it would be: stay focused and always keep God first.

Looking ahead, I see myself opening my own full beauty space—where I can hire other estheticians and cosmetologists and build a strong, supportive team. I also plan on launching my own wax aftercare line and partnering with more skincare brands. I see my business becoming a million-dollar brand, and I’m speaking that into existence.

This is just the beginning of Toni Bella Wax & Esthetics, and I’m so excited for what’s next.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. I ran into legal issues along the way, financial burdens and just being a mom through it all I just kept pushing

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I specialize in full body waxing, customized facials, lash extensions, brow lamination, and body contouring. I’m mostly known for Waxing. I overly love waxing 90% of my bookings are for waxing. However, i want more skincare clients badly. I really want to get into my facials bag because I know what I can do. I pride myself on following proper protocols and procedures, having the proper licensing. I don’t like to do nothing half way, or in a way where i could jeopardize my licensing. Professionalism is me.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I’d say I was very much a tomb boy. I love hanging with my brothers as they were the ages closet to me. However, I had done all start cheerleading since the age of 5 up till middle school. I played volleyball and ran track in middle school, and i cheered , played flag football and did the step team in high school. I have such a bubbly personality, im super funny and I get along with people from all walks of life. I love all people. My goal as a kid was to go to school to be an obstetrician but that quickly changed because i couldn’t imagine experiencing the downside of what comes with that. I changed to being a CPA from my love for math. I graduated high school and got an associates degree in business management and minor in accounting which was before i decided to take on this new journey, i was doing lashes while I was in college and also bartending and doing bottle service in clubs while working a 9-5 job to pave my way. I’m someone who is resilient and I believe that’s because of my Faith.
