Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Approximately eight years ago, I harbored the aspiration to establish my own business venture. However, my plans were temporarily suspended when I started dating my now husband . The dream persisted until our close friend, Ozzy, encouraged me to take action and pursue my entrepreneurial goals. After extensive discussions, we mutually agreed on a shared vision and established roles for each of us. Our initial team consisted of three friends who have since grown into a close-knit family dedicated to serving exceptional cuisine and fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Despite the challenges, the journey has not been terrible. The primary difficulties lie in maintaining a great balance between family responsibilities and financial obligations. Additionally, acquiring business management skills proved to be an unfamiliar task for all of us. However, we are actively striving to better our communication within the family unit on a daily basis.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a Mexican food establishment, our primary focus is the preparation and serving of authentic tacos. We prioritize using fresh, homemade ingredients whenever possible. My responsibilities are catering, social media management, and human resources. I have a lot of satisfaction from engaging with customers and developing positive interactions. Family is a big importance to us, and we strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where customers feel valued and as if they are an integral part of our community.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Our families, friends, and each other have been our unwavering support system throughout this journey. My parents and my younger sister have been our most steadfast supporters, while our friends have provided invaluable encouragement and guidance. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have stood by our side and shared this transformative experience with us.
