Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsay Copple.
Hi Lindsay, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Social media has long been a space for creativity and self-expression and more recently it has become a vital tool for advocacy and truth. What started as a fun and creative outlet eventually grew into something more. In college at the University of Central Florida, I held leadership positions in the Kappa Delta sorority for both social media and apparel and I also began collaborating with brands to promote their products on my own platforms. It was exciting, creative, and genuinely rewarding—something I still enjoy doing today. But after October 7th, 2023, my content took on a deeper purpose. I have always had a strong Jewish identity, but after October 7th, 2023, I felt an undeniable urgency to speak up—not just for myself, but for my community. I could no longer sit back in silence in the face of rising antisemitism. While I continue to work with brands and share lifestyle content, I have also made it a personal mission to raise awareness, challenge hate, and advocate for the Jewish community.
The urgency of this mission is rooted in real, devastating facts. In the months following October 7th, antisemitic incidents skyrocketed globally. According to the Anti-Defamation League and Tel Aviv University, antisemitic acts surged by 340% between 2022 and 2024. In the United States alone, reported incidents increased by 361% in the months following the attack. Other countries like Canada, France, and Australia also saw massive spikes—some exceeding 500%. Even more disturbing, a recent global survey across 103 countries found that nearly half of adults hold antisemitic beliefs, including Holocaust denial and support for long-standing antisemitic tropes.
These are not just numbers—they represent real fear, pain, and growing isolation felt by Jews around the world. I knew I could not remain quiet in the face of that. So today, I strive to use my voice and platform not only to share the things I love, but to stand proudly and unapologetically as an advocate for my community. Balancing creativity with meaningful advocacy has been a powerful journey—one I feel deeply committed to every single day.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Speaking out against antisemitism—especially on social media—has exposed me to an overwhelming amount of hate. Nearly every day, I encounter deeply antisemitic messages: people deny the Holocaust, glorify figures like Hitler, express support for antisemitic rhetoric from public figures, or send messages laced with violent and dehumanizing language. The hostility can be relentless, and it highlights just how normalized antisemitism has become in digital spaces. It is especially painful knowing that my great-grandparents survived the Holocaust—something many members of my family did not. To hear people deny that it ever happened is not only ignorant, but personally devastating.
That pain deepened after October 7th, when my friend Nathanel Young was murdered by Hamas. Since then, I have seen people not only deny the atrocities of that day, but in some cases openly support Hamas or justify its violence. Bearing witness to that kind of denial and hate is incredibly difficult—but it only strengthens my conviction. I have never regretted using my voice. If anything, the backlash reaffirms how necessary it is to speak up. I am proud to stand firmly and publicly against hate—not just for myself, but for every member of the Jewish community who deserves to live without fear or shame.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I use my social media platforms as a space for meaningful advocacy, education, and solidarity—particularly in support of the Jewish community during a time of rising global antisemitism. What began as a creative outlet for lifestyle content and brand collaborations has evolved into a deeply purposeful mission. Since October 7th, I have fully leaned into my Jewish identity and committed myself to speaking out against hate, misinformation, and antisemitic rhetoric—both online and in real life.
What I am most proud of is being able to help other Jewish individuals feel seen, safe, and empowered. Whether through digital advocacy or in-person community engagement, my goal is to create space for strength, pride, and unity. I have had the privilege of addressing the University of Central Florida’s student government to challenge the spread of antisemitic narratives, leading a campus vigil honoring the Bibas family members who were taken hostage and murdered by Hamas, and traveling to Washington, D.C. to participate in the March for Israel on the National Mall. I have also built a close connection with Chabad at the University of Central Florida, serving as a Mega Shabbat table leader and actively participating in Jewish life on campus through regular Shabbat dinners and events.
Within my sorority at the University of Central Florida, I have actively worked to foster a more inclusive and welcoming environment—not only for the Jewish community but for all minority groups. By advocating for diversity, equity, and cultural awareness, I have helped create spaces where members from different backgrounds feel valued and supported. This commitment to inclusivity reflects my broader passion for standing against discrimination and building stronger, more united communities.
What sets me apart is that I do not simply post about advocacy—I live it. I consistently engage in difficult conversations, confront hate where it appears, and strive to be a source of strength and support for others navigating their Jewish identity in uncertain times. My work is grounded in compassion, conviction, and a deep sense of responsibility—not only to my own values, but to my community. While this path has brought its challenges, it has also given me a profound sense of purpose and pride.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is standing firmly against hate, combating harmful stereotypes, and challenging false narratives that distort history and identity. I am deeply committed to preserving and sharing my family’s history as Holocaust survivors, ensuring that the truth of their experiences—and the lessons of that dark chapter—are never forgotten. Equally important is honoring the memory of my friend Nathanel Young and all those who were tragically murdered by Hamas on October 7th, as well as advocating for those currently held hostage.
Beyond individual stories, I am driven by a broader mission to give voice to those who have been silenced—whether through violence, fear, or marginalization. This includes supporting Jewish students and communities on college campuses who face increasing threats and antisemitism, and working to create spaces where they can feel safe, seen, and empowered. Ultimately, what matters most to me is using my voice and platform to affirm truth, preserve memory, and foster resilience in the face of hatred.
