Exploring Life & Business with Valerie Flores of Glam’d & gifted

Today we’d like to introduce you to Valerie Flores.

Hi Valerie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
We’re so excited to share a piece of our journey with you! Glam’d & Gifted is a proud mother-and-daughters small business that was born in 2020, right in the heart of the pandemic. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a lifeline — a way to support our family while my father battled for his life after a severe fight with COVID. As a young single teen mom raising two daughters, life wasn’t easy — but through faith, family, and a love for crafting and creating, we found strength and purpose.

Our business became more than just products — it became healing, connection, and teamwork. Fast forward to today, and we’re still here, growing stronger and more determined than ever. This year, we’ve taken a bold step and started participating in local pop-up markets, sharing our passion and handmade goods with the community.

We’d love for you to be part of our journey — come meet us at our next event and see what Glam’d & Gifted is all about!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There were moments we weren’t sure we’d make it — almost losing our father, raising kids on our own, juggling life, business, and everything in between. We paused, we moved, we rebranded. But through every storm, Glam’d & Gifted remained our light. Built with love, driven by purpose — we’re still here, and we’re just getting started.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Glam’d & gifted?
We’re a mother and daughters-owned brand that started in 2020 during the pandemic. What began as a way to help support our family during a time of crisis quickly turned into a heartfelt business that brought us closer together. We specialize in handmade beauty and self-care items — from luxurious body oils and candles to lashes and glam accessories — all created with intention, passion, and style.

What sets us apart is the story behind our products. Every item we offer is made with love, inspired by our personal journey, and created to uplift and empower. We combine beauty with meaning — we don’t just sell products, we create experiences that make our customers feel special, seen, and celebrated.

We’re most proud of how far we’ve come — from a living room setup to rebranding and joining local pop-up markets, we’ve stayed consistent with our mission: to create beautiful things while building a beautiful life.

At Glam’d & Gifted, you’ll find quality, heart, and a whole lot of hustle behind every item. Whether you’re shopping for self-care or a gift for someone you love, we’re here to add a little glam to your life — and we’re just getting started.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
