Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Bagley.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began publishing in 2015, starting with my Master’s thesis – from my Seminary Degree from Northeastern Seminary, which I converted into a Kindle edition, then expanded into a paperback and eventually an audiobook. Since then, I’ve completed dozens of published projects in both the Dead Sea Scrolls and business niches, with over 200,000 units sold to date. Today, I run a thriving audiobook publishing company and serve as the Chief Revenue Consultant for a new publishing startup, CoPilotBooks.org, where I lead efforts to recruit talented writers and narrators. In less than two years, CoPilot has already sold over 20,000 units.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Holding down a corporate job while building publishing empire as a single income provider for a household of four.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I help top selling authors get their books produced into top selling audiobooks. Including my own published books. Just wrote a book called”The 10 Commandments of Strategic Networking” and am launch the sequel to that book “The 10 Commandments of Personal Branding” that I co-authored with Orlando ghost & novel writer, Erik Deckers. which will launch late Summer of 2025.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
H U G E shifts in the publishing and audiobook publishing due to AI!
