Good morning Emilio , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
I’m chasing greatness whenever I go… that what’s keeps me motivated and fueled to seize the day, on every picture I try to top and tell a story that can touch and inspire others to create and follow their path.

If I stopped then my meaning in this life would be… unknown or I wouldn’t exist.

I don’t know how to quit so stopping is not in my dictionary.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Emilio Morena and I’m the one behind the camera on my Instagram page @xplr.photograper.

I am born in Caracas, Venezuela, but I had been building my life in the United States!

Always been curious about photography but, because of a dare from my family, I got into this marvelous world that I am grateful to be part.

My work consist in try to tell a story on every picture, to make you feel you are there in the most cinematic way ever.

Life is a movie and I try to give you little scenes with every picture I create and you be the judge on what’s happening next.

Recently I’m working to expand my world and be more known through the theme park community and even in some other areas that can create more stories.

Halloween Horror nights Orlando is next and I’m already have motivation and some ideas to be on the next level.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
It has to be Mardi Gras 2025.

I was ready to quit photography, I didn’t have it anymore.

Family and friends reach out to me and try to convince me to keep going and I only agree for one last time.

I did bought gear that I felt drawn to expand myself as a photographer and I started to feel drawn again in this world.

As I started to create memories in this amazing and outstanding event, I just kept going and met so many of their amazing fellow photographers, but the ones who made me shine where the performers.

Got in touch with lots of them and felt loved, acknowledged and seen.

My love for photography came back thanks to all those amazing Universal Studios Orlando performers that they kill it in every event! Because of you guys, I am still here, you gave me a reason to keep going and for that… I’m eternally grateful.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
The time that I started enjoying life and embracing myself.

That’s the moment when you realize who you are as a person and what can you achieve in showing your unique and outstanding way to be.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
100 percent me.

I take pride on what you see is what I am.

If you say hi to social media on in person I will always show you the true me, because we all deserve honesty beforehand.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story about a man who refused to quit on his dreams, to be synonymous of greatness. If I can do it, you can as well.
