Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Santa.

Hi Sarah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Originally from Virginia, I made Florida my home after graduate school at the University of Florida, where I studied Public Health. Living in Orlando for the past nine years has opened doors to incredible collaborations with local chefs and healthcare pros, shaping my unique approach to health and culinary education.

As a certified nutrition consultant and culinary educator, I bring a hands-on passion for healthy, meaningful food experiences. My love for extra virgin olive oil—sparked by travel, tastings, and expert connections—led me to become a Level 1 Olive Oil Sommelier.

Now, through June Crush, I craft unforgettable culinary experiences that blend wellness with flavor, proving that food truly connects us all—and that healthy eating can be magical. My brand has evolved from my passion for connecting people to food, creating intentional moments, and building community.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like many journeys, it’s had its ups and downs. Early on, I had to rebrand my original business name due to a non-compete with a similarly named company. I definitely took it personally at first, but now, having navigated the legal hoops—changing my LLC name, updating bank accounts, and reinstating my resale certificate—I see that challenge as a blessing in disguise.

This experience gave me the chance to take a fine-tooth comb to my business mission and broaden my focus. Today, I craft unique culinary experiences that are as meaningful as they are delicious. I contract with private clients designing personalized programs and also host public tasting events—all fueled by my passion for olive oil and good food!

June Crush is all about curating unforgettable culinary experiences across Central Florida. Whether it’s an intimate at-home olive oil tasting and pairing or a collaboration with chefs for larger public events, I specialize in creating moments that connect people through food and flavor.

What sets June Crush apart is my unique blend of expertise — with a background in nutrition, public health, and certification as Orlando’s only olive oil sommelier, I bring a rare and authentic perspective to every event. I’m passionate about sharing not just food, but the stories of producers and farmers from around the world, bringing global cuisine into a hyperlocal setting.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of my authenticity. I use social media as a positive tool to educate and inspire through food photography and storytelling — but I never compromise my true self or get caught up in the pressure to post daily. My goal is simple: I want people to think of me as “the olive oil lady” whenever they’re dreaming up a food event or culinary experience in Florida.
