My journey into website design and branding started out of both necessity and passion. I’ve always had a love for creativity and helping others, but when I stepped into entrepreneurship, I quickly realized how overwhelming it could feel for small business owners, especially women like myself trying to balance family and building something meaningful. I saw so many entrepreneurs with amazing ideas and services, but their online presence just didn’t reflect the value they were bringing to the table.
That’s when I started Hello Website Design. At first, it was just me, helping friends and local businesses create websites that felt professional, trustworthy, and true to their brand. Over time, word spread, and I found myself working with therapists, small businesses, and entrepreneurs who wanted more than “just a website”—they wanted results, growth, and opportunities.
Along the way, I’ve grown not only as a designer but as a leader. I’ve managed to help over 10 businesses double their income in the past year, and the most rewarding part for me is hearing clients say that their website finally feels like “them” and is bringing in the right clients. My path hasn’t always been easy—I’ve had to juggle motherhood, long nights, and figuring out business structures on my own—but each challenge has shaped me into the businesswoman I am today.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Honestly, it hasn’t been a smooth road at all, and I think that’s part of what makes this journey so real. Starting and growing a business came with a lot of trial and error, and there were many times when I felt stuck. One of my biggest struggles has been figuring out the financial structure, like how to price my services fairly, budget for growth, and still provide value to clients while supporting my family. There were months where leads were slow, and as a business owner, that uncertainty is tough to carry.
