Meet Victoria Clark of Inherent Strength

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Clark.

Hi Victoria, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story begins with a passion for helping people find strength within themselves, especially women balancing so many roles: career, relationships, motherhood, and personal growth. I started Inherent Strength in St. Petersburg as a counseling practice, but quickly realized how important accessibility and flexibility were for busy women and families. That vision led Inherent Strength to evolve into a telehealth group therapy and coaching practice.

Over time, the practice has expanded beyond therapy sessions. We now offer coaching, digital resources, and tools like our workbooks and planners to give clients support that truly fits into their lives. At the same time, I’ve been building my lifestyle brand as a therapist and mompreneur, sharing the real ups and downs of creating balance, wellness, and joy as both a mom and business owner.

Today, I’m proud to lead Inherent Strength as a team-based practice that serves clients across the U.S., while also connecting with women through social media, community, and partnerships. What started as a personal passion has grown into something that empowers so many others to find their own strength.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road. Like so many women building something from the ground up, I’ve had to navigate challenges with balance, being present as a mom and wife, while also leading a growing practice and brand. Inherent Strength started as just me, and learning how to scale into a team-based practice brought its own growing pains: finding the right systems, hiring the right people, and making sure clients always feel supported.

There were also the inevitable hurdles of being fully virtual before telehealth became more widely accepted. At first, it meant explaining and educating clients on how effective and convenient therapy online could be. Now, it’s one of our biggest strengths.

Through it all, I’ve leaned on my own support systems, my family, my friends, and the very tools I teach clients, like goal-mapping and creating structure. Those struggles have shaped me as both a leader and a mom, and I think they’ve made Inherent Strength what it is today: authentic, resilient, and client-focused.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Inherent Strength is a telehealth counseling and coaching practice based in St. Petersburg and serving clients nationwide. We focus on supporting women who are balancing career, relationships, motherhood, and personal growth. What we’re known for is blending therapy and coaching, giving clients both the space to process challenges and the tools to move forward with confidence.

We offer flexible packages that meet clients where they are, from short-term clarity work to longer-term support and momentum. What sets us apart is our authentic, accessible approach and our ability to provide both compassion and action. Brand-wise, I’m most proud that what started as a solo practice has grown into a team-based organization that empowers women to rise, find balance, and create a life that feels sustainable and joyful.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My best advice for finding a mentor or building a network is to focus on genuine relationships. Look for people who inspire you but also share your values. Some of my most impactful mentors have simply been women a few steps ahead of me. Networking has worked best for me when it’s authentic, whether through local events, collaborations, or social media. The right mentors and connections should leave you feeling supported, challenged, and seen.
