For years I was obsessed with self-care and skin care. The small rituals and the time I spent with my body made me feel grounded and connected. After being immersed in my creative sensual journey, I felt drawn to explore other arenas within the wellness world. That is what led me to study skin care on a professional level. I wanted to understand the skin fully and become a specialist so I could offer care with both knowledge and intention.
As I went deeper into that work, I realized I wanted to bring sensuality and self-care together instead of keeping them apart. I envisioned a space where tending to the skin could also feel like a sensual ritual, and where treatments could be experienced as both healing and nourishing.
That vision became Femme Olympia. It is a sanctuary where skin health and sensual wellness come together, and where every experience is created to feel like a sacred ritual.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest obstacles I encountered was opening the spa just a year after moving to Orlando. I barely knew anyone there, which made it a challenge to build trust and visibility in a new city. Starting something as intimate as a wellness and sensual spa in a place where you don’t have an established network felt overwhelming at times.
I had to learn how to put myself out there, to connect with people one by one, and to show them not just what Femme Olympia offered, but the deeper intention behind it. There were moments when it felt like I was building everything from scratch with no safety net.
But that experience taught me resilience. It reminded me how much I believe in this vision, because even in a city where I was new, I knew there were people craving the kind of sanctuary I wanted to create. Each client who found me reaffirmed that I was exactly where I needed to be, even if the road to get here wasn’t smooth.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
My advice leans more toward building community. When I first started out in Orlando, I didn’t know many people, so I had to be intentional about putting myself in spaces where connection could happen.
Joining fitness and social clubs gave me a chance to meet people outside of my industry, and those relationships often led to opportunities I wouldn’t have expected. Attending networking events was also key, not just for visibility, but for practicing how to share my story and my vision with confidence.
What I’ve found is that the best networking doesn’t come from handing out cards or chasing contacts. it comes from showing up consistently and building real connections over time. When people feel your presence and your authenticity, they remember you. Community creates support, and support opens doors.
