Today we’d like to introduce you to Cecilia Peralta.
Hi Cecilia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m originally from Argentina and have a background in hospitality and accounting. In 2009, I moved to Orlando to join a training program in the operations department at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes. That experience was foundational—I rotated through front desk, phones, and housekeeping, eventually becoming a trainer and later promoted to a dual role as Front Desk Supervisor and Assistant to the General Manager at the Renaissance SeaWorld. It was a crash course in leadership, customer service, problem-solving, and managing people. I learned how to respond to reviews and complaints, navigate high-pressure situations, and adapt quickly, often switching between roles in a single day.
After several years in hospitality, I decided to transition into real estate and earned my license. My first role was with Auction.com, where I focused on lead generation and networking through Central Florida’s largest investor associations. That exposed me not only to the traditional side of real estate but also to the world of investors and creative deal-making.
From there, I moved into sales, working with buyers and sellers as a solo agent. I’ve always been naturally curious and hungry to learn, so I dove into every training available. Eventually, I joined one of the top-producing teams in the office, and not long after, I was offered the role of office manager. That’s where I discovered my love for contracts, compliance, and operations. I didn’t just manage the office—I built out an in-house transaction coordination system, streamlined processes, and made it a successful part of the business.
At the same time, I launched my own independent Transaction Coordination business. Today, I run that business with a small team, and I’ve expanded into coaching and education. I created a course—the Coordination Virtual Playbook—and I also run a YouTube channel where I teach aspiring TCs how to launch and grow their own businesses.
Over the years, my business has continued to evolve. I earned my mortgage loan originator license to serve clients on the financing side—both helping buyers directly and supporting my Realtor partners with loan origination for their clients.
I’ve been working 100% virtually for years—long before it became the norm. That flexibility has allowed me to travel, spend time with friends and family around the world, and still run my businesses seamlessly. For me, the freedom of being my own boss isn’t just about location—it’s about continually evolving, setting the rules of my business, and leaning into opportunities that allow me to help others succeed in real estate. At the core, everything I do ties back to one mission: helping real estate professionals save time, stay organized, and grow without limits.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it has definitely not been a smooth road. I don’t believe in luck—I believe in preparing yourself so that when the right opportunity comes, you’re ready to take it. From the beginning, I was never afraid to invest in myself and my business, especially in education, training, and development. That mindset helped me cut the learning curve, but it didn’t erase the struggles.
Back in Argentina, I had a stable position with a great salary and the kind of privileges that make life comfortable. But I wanted more. I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and see what I was really capable of. So, I left it all behind and came to Orlando as an intern—starting over from zero. Suddenly I went from security to working long, demanding hours in hospitality, where weekends and holidays were luxuries and the industry was highly competitive. On top of that, English wasn’t my first language, so every step required twice as much effort.
When I transitioned into real estate, the challenges looked different. I had to learn to live on commission, depending solely on sales, which was extremely stressful. I was a good Realtor, but I had to accept that I wasn’t the best. With my competitive nature, that was hard to swallow after putting in so much effort. Thankfully, real estate is an industry that thrives on coaching and growth, and through seminars, coaching sessions, books, motivational events, I learned something important: sometimes you’re not in the wrong career, you’re just sitting in the wrong seat. That realization changed everything.
When I moved into the office manager role, I felt like I had finally found my element. But even then, it wasn’t easy. I proposed bringing transaction coordination in-house (it was outsourced at the time), and the plan was to start slowly—maybe a couple of files a month. Instead, in the very first month, the outsourced TC company stopped servicing our team, and suddenly I was responsible for all the transactions of a top-producing office, with no systems in place. It was overwhelming, but little by little, I built the structure we needed, and everything started to flow.
Another personal challenge was my accent. I was very self-conscious about it, and deciding to launch a YouTube channel where I had to put myself on camera was terrifying. But pushing through that fear became one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve made.
Being independent and running my own business has been incredible, but it comes with its own responsibilities. Managing people, maintaining systems, and carrying the weight of your own success is never easy. Every stage of my journey has had its struggles—but each one taught me resilience and shaped me into who I am today.
We’ve been impressed with CVP Virtual, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business has two main branches: providing Transaction Coordination services for Realtors, and teaching others how to build successful independent TC businesses of their own.
On the service side, I specialize in helping Realtors stay compliant, organized, and focused on sales by handling all the behind-the-scenes contract-to-close details. My team and I make sure deadlines are met, documents are accurate, communication is clear, and transactions flow smoothly from start to finish. By taking that weight off their plate, my services allow Realtors to handle more business, save hours every week, stay in total control of their transactions, and ultimately earn better reviews and repeat clients.
What really sets me apart is that I’m an educator at heart. I don’t just process paperwork; I guide my agents through the transaction, explaining the “why” behind what I do—something that’s especially valuable for new or rookie agents. They know I’m not only keeping the file on track but also helping them learn, gain confidence, and grow along the way.
On the education side, I run the Coordination Virtual Playbook, an online course and coaching program where I mentor aspiring and independent TCs. Through the course and my YouTube channel, I’ve built a community of people who are not only learning the technical side of the business, but also how to run it as a profitable, scalable company. I’m proud that my brand stands for clarity, systems, and practical training—not just theory.
At the end of the day, everything I do comes back to one mission: helping real estate professionals save time, reduce stress, and grow without limits.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I absolutely take risks, but I’d call them “controlled risks.” Control is part of my nature, so every decision I make comes with research, analysis, and preparation. But I believe risk is what makes you grow. If you always stay in the safe zone, you’ll never know what you’re capable of.
One of the biggest risks I took was leaving behind a great career in Argentina. I had a stable job in a respected company, earning a salary most people my age would have loved to have. Instead, I left it all to move to Orlando alone and start over from scratch as an intern. Later, I took another risk when I left the hotel industry, walking away from the stability of a salary and the potential of a clear career path to pursue real estate—a field where your income depends entirely on sales.
Another turning point was when I decided to launch my own Transaction Coordination business. I could have stayed comfortably employed as a TC, but that would have meant accepting an earning cap. Instead, I risked the security of a paycheck to build something of my own.
I take risks all the time. I don’t mind investing in my business and going all in because I believe in the possibilities—even when the people around me don’t see the vision and think it’s reckless or unrealistic. Sometimes the rewards don’t come right away, but every risk has pushed me to grow, and in the end, that’s where the real reward lies.
