My name is Ting, and I’m the founder of AGA. As long as I can remember, the paranormal world has been a part of my life. As a marketing director for vacation tourism, and also as a full-time Firefighter/ EMT, I see people at the happiest time of their lives (vacationing) and at the worst times of their lives (911 emergencies). Seeing people in this setting has given me insight into the world of the living and the dead. It creates a natural balance in my life. The AGA team is beyond the question of “Are there ghosts?” Our locations provide us with a research facility that actually allows us to make communications with the same spirits on a daily basis. As your tour guide, I’m able to offer you a fun-filled experience with some meaningful insight to the other side. We’ve been featured on Good Day Orlando, local news stations, AAA magazine, several podcast shows, been on Real Radio 104.1, Orlando Sentinel and several other local newspapers have written about us. We’ve also been featured on shows like Mysteries at the Museums, Paranormal 911, and Haunted Hospital. I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
A few of the struggles since we started in early 2000 was that companies and locations were still superstitious and didn’t want their property to be known as haunted.
Having funding to buy the ghost hunting equipment
Getting people to want to book a ghost tour in the theme park capital of the world which was known to be family friendly and cheerful
Finding tour guides that weren’t frighten or understood our company’s goal
Finding a business partner that had the same vision for the company.
Money for marketing and competing with national companies that had deeper pockets
Getting the locals to know they didn’t have to travel to other places to go on a ghost tour
Getting people understand that we are not devil worshipers or a cult
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a full-time Firefighter/EMT and a paranormal investigator who specializes in cases involving commercial properties and businesses experiencing unexplained activity. What distinguishes my work is my ability to perceive, communicate with, and relay messages from spirits—often without any prior knowledge of the location’s history. I take great pride in maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service throughout each investigation. My ultimate goal is to bring understanding and resolution to both the clients and the spirits involved, and I’m grateful that many of these experiences have led to lasting connections with both the living and those who have passed on.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My husband for watching the kids and believing in me. Even though he himself does not believe he didn’t discourage or hinder me from pursuing this adventure.
My first business partner for bowing out knowing he couldn’t do it and introducing me to the field.
My 2nd business partner and friends for showing me some of the ropes and that help me see what the potentials were
The tour guides that stayed with me and believed in the same vision and helped me host tours
The spirits for trusting me to relay their messages and trusting me not to cause them harm
My spirit guides for protecting me and for thrusting me forward
