Jacqueline Amira shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning Jacqueline, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Honestly, I have to say Integrity. You can drink a Red Bull or Monster energy drink and get more energy. You can take a course, read a book, take a class and increase your intelligence. Integrity is one of those qualities that you either have it or you don’t. It aligns with having strong morals and principles. Integrity is an important attribute for me both personally and professionally.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Oh boy lol Okie dokie. I actually answered a question similar to this recently with Creative Cosplay Magazine. I worked with them for a special December issue. (This special issue may or may not have been released at the time this interview is published but I still want to cover the bases) I am a former NPC… a former Red Shirt. (Brownie points if you get the red shirt reference 🙂) My name is Jacqueline Amira. I killed off a bunch of zombies in Bocas vs. Night of Living Dead. It was a fun Sunday. I am a villainess in the horror series Arcadia: Origins of Arkosios. (We are in development, I have participated in some panels for the show at various events this year) Right now I am under contract with Raven Illusion Studios. I am working on the video games Beyond Fire and Ice and Superhero brawl. For Fire & Ice, I am the voice of the goddess SkadI. For Superhero Brawl, I am the voice of Divinity. I also host/MC conventions & events through out the year as well and I am a professional cosplayer.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I think the earliest memory of feeling powerful is when my fitness journey started. This one is going back to 2020 and I made the very difficult decision to cut my family off for good. It was hard but it was also necessary. Forgive me but wasn’t this covered in the first interview back in 2024?
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Buckle up kid, you’re in for one heck of a rollercoaster ride. There’s going to be some scary parts, and I mean really scary, but there’s going to be some amazing parts that almost seem too good to be true.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I’ve been told I’m a little too real sometimes. My friends know that if they want an honest and unfiltered answer on something, anything really, to talk to me about it. lol That counts both personally and professionally.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I was brave enough to try. I came out of my shell and accomplished some amazing things. I look at people kind of like they are books in a library. There’s millions, billions of beautiful stories sitting on the shelf waiting to be read. There’s also stories waiting to be written. My book is a part of the second group. The first couple of chapters may seem boring and dark at first but if you keep reading, it gets better.
