Today we’d like to introduce you to Valerie Orsoni.
Hi Valerie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I didn’t start in wellness because it was trendy — I started because I had no other choice.
I was born with serious congenital health issues that conventional medicine told me I would have to “live with.” Instead of accepting that, I started researching, experimenting, and questioning everything. That was in 1998, long before the word biohacking existed.
What began as personal survival quickly turned into a method: observing the body as a system, testing variables, measuring outcomes, and adjusting. Over time, I was able to reverse conditions I was told were irreversible — and that completely changed the trajectory of my life.
From there, I began sharing what I was learning. I wrote my first books, built coaching programs, and eventually created platforms and brands that combined science, movement, nutrition, and mindset. Today, I’m the founder of multiple wellness and fitness platforms, the author of over 55 books translated into several languages, and the creator of training programs followed by hundreds of thousands of women worldwide.
Along the way, I’ve also remained an athlete and explorer — climbing mountains, pushing physical limits, and constantly testing my own protocols. That’s important to me because I never teach anything I haven’t lived, tested, and measured myself.
What got me here isn’t luck or shortcuts. It’s curiosity, discipline, and a refusal to accept outdated narratives about what the body can or cannot do. My work today is about empowering people — especially women — with tools that are grounded in science, practical in real life, and focused on long-term health, strength, and autonomy.
And I’m still evolving. Biohacking, like the human body, is never finished.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. It’s been anything but smooth.
One of the biggest challenges was going against the grain long before it was socially acceptable to do so. In the late 90s and early 2000s, questioning medical dogma, nutrition guidelines, or fitness norms wasn’t encouraged — especially as a woman. I was often dismissed, criticized, or told I was irresponsible simply for asking better questions and testing alternatives.
Another major struggle was building credibility in a space that didn’t yet exist. When I started, “biohacking” wasn’t a recognized field, and there was no roadmap. I had to prove results first on myself, then on others, and do so consistently, transparently, and over many years. That takes resilience — and patience.
Entrepreneurship itself has also been challenging. Building multiple companies, scaling platforms, managing teams, navigating failures, and making tough decisions comes with financial risk and constant pressure. There were moments where things didn’t work, where I had to pivot, start over, or let go of ideas that I was deeply attached to.
On a personal level, balancing ambition with health has been an ongoing lesson. When you’re passionate, it’s easy to push too hard. I had to learn that longevity isn’t about extremes — it’s about sustainability.
Every obstacle forced me to refine my thinking, sharpen my standards, and stay grounded in data rather than opinions. In hindsight, those struggles weren’t setbacks — they were the reason the work I do today is so precise, resilient, and real.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At the core of my work, I help people understand and optimize their bodies using a systems-based, evidence-informed approach that combines biohacking, movement, nutrition, and mindset.
I specialize in translating complex science into practical, real-life protocols — whether that’s improving metabolic health, reducing inflammation, rebuilding energy, or reshaping the body in a sustainable way. I’m particularly known for long-term, results-driven fitness programs, biohacking education, and for challenging outdated narratives in wellness when the data no longer supports them.
What sets me apart is that I’ve been doing this since 1998, long before it became a trend. I don’t follow hype cycles. I test, measure, adjust, and evolve. I also never separate theory from practice: everything I teach has been lived, tested, and monitored, first on myself and then across thousands of people.
I’m also deeply committed to transparency. I share not just what works, but why it works, for whom, and under what conditions. I talk openly about limits, risks, and the importance of monitoring — which isn’t always popular, but it’s necessary.
What I’m most proud of isn’t visibility or numbers; it’s longevity. I’ve helped people get real, measurable results over decades — not weeks — and I’ve built platforms, programs, and brands that continue to evolve without compromising scientific integrity. I’m especially proud of empowering women to take ownership of their health, strength, and confidence in a space that too often oversimplifies or infantilizes them.
Ultimately, what defines my work is independence — from trends, from dogma, and from shortcuts. I believe real optimization comes from curiosity, consistency, and respect for biology, and that’s the standard I hold myself to every day.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Your body is far more adaptable than you’ve been led to believe. Real, lasting change doesn’t come from hacks or extremes — it comes from understanding your biology, staying consistent, and making decisions you can sustain long term.
