Hi Karen , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey has always been rooted in love stories. First as a romance author, and now as a wedding officiant. I began by writing magical romance novels that celebrate connection, hope, and the belief that love always finds its way.
That passion became deeply personal after planning my own wedding at Walt Disney World. Experiencing a Disney wedding where storytelling, romance, and some Disney magic are woven into every detail sparked a natural shift. I realized I didn’t just want to write fictional love stories; I wanted to help real-life couples live them. That moment led me to become a professional wedding officiant, with a special love for Disney weddings.
Today, I’m a Florida-based officiant and author who creates custom ceremonies for all kinds of couples and venues. From intimate elopements and vow renewals to grand celebrations. Disney weddings are my favorite and a major passion, but every ceremony I craft is deeply personal and story-driven. My background as an author allows me to write ceremonies that feel heartfelt, magical, and completely unique.
Whether on the page or at the altar, my goal is the same: to celebrate love stories and help create real-life happily ever afters.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The most meaningful journeys usually have a few unexpected turns, right?
It hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road, but it’s been a heartfelt one. Writing romance and officiating weddings require leading with emotion, vulnerability, and a strong sense of voice. Learning to trust my own instincts took a little time.
Like any good fairytale, once I stopped trying to follow someone else’s map, I found my own happily-ever-after path. One filled with the right couples, the right stories, and a whole lot of heart.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
One of my couples described me as “The Disney-est Fairytale Wedding Officiant ever.” And that sums me up pretty well.
My credentials are sprinkled with pixie dust. I’m a former Disney World park bride, a lifelong Disney romantic who is married to a Disney fanatic, and we live on Disney property, so naturally I wanted to specialize in officiating Disney weddings because it’s what I know best. Thankfully, my dream is coming true even quicker than I imagined.

Orlando is a big playground and I love meeting people who visit here from all over the world.
