Hidden Gems: Meet Kerri-Anne Brown of Healing with Wisdom

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kerri-Anne Brown.

Kerri-Anne , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I opened my private practice in 2012 and slowly built it into a full-time private practice. I’ve been in full-time private practice since 2015. I started working with general mental health concerns and eventually narrowed the scope of my work to those I do my best work with (women going through infertility and loss).

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road by any means but I’m grateful for the lessons learned along the way. It took some time to get clarity on who I wanted to help and who I did my best work with. That came with working with a variety of people with multiple concerns. I learned that I could not and did not want to be a jack of all trades.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Healing with Wisdom provides specialized therapy for women navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, pregnancy after loss, and complex family-building decisions.

I work with women who feel emotionally worn down by the uncertainty, grief, and impossible decisions that come with fertility struggles, especially those who feel overwhelmed and unsure what comes next.

I offer individual fertility therapy for women navigating infertility and loss, pregnancy after loss therapy for women who are pregnant after miscarriage or stillbirth, and therapy intensives for women who feel stuck or at a crossroads and want deeper support in a shorter timeframe.

What sets my work apart is how I approach this process. I don’t rush clients toward hope, decisions, or acceptance. This is steady, grief-aware, trauma-informed therapy that allows for grief without timelines and fear without reassurance. Nothing is minimized, forced, or rushed. My role is to help women feel steadier, more grounded, and less alone as they navigate what comes next.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memories are centered around my favorite activity… dance. I danced with a dance troupe for several years and felt most alive during dance practices and performances. Dance will always by my first love.
