Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Coueignoux.
Stephanie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up, I always realized that my calling was communication but I wasn’t clear on which path I wanted to take. I ultimately fell in love with tv journalism because of its immediacy and accessibility. I am a very curious person and love that journalism affords me a front row seat to not only watch live events but ask the burning questions. Journalism is more than clearly and effectively communicating current, live events to an audience; it’s about communicating why these events are important and how they will impact our lives. I love being a communication conduit. This has now evolved into my career as a host at LiveNOW from FOX, FOX’s international streaming news platform. A few years ago, I put a pause on my media journalism career to launch my communication coaching career. I still loved journalism but I was ready to discover what was beyond traditional news & the standard format. I realized people are hungry for pure and powerful communication. When I was presented with an opportunity with LiveNOW, its mission deeply resonated with me. LiveNOW is about airing live events with no opinion and minimal commercial breaks. It’s about watching with our viewers instead of “telling” them what they should watch. LiveNOW is about pulling the curtain away and showing viewers what is actually happening without editing or editorial commentary.
My passion for clear communication has extended into my coaching career with Stephanie Coueignoux Coaching. I leverage my 20 years of Emmy Award-winning communication experience and apply it to real-life, daily situations. I coach C-suite executives and professionals on how to effectively and powerfully communicate their mission on media platforms, in-person, and social media. In this current age, we do not have the luxury of time to connect with an audience. We need to immediately grab their attention and clearly communicate why they should care about what they are seeing and hearing. Success to me is about empowering individuals to communicate their mission and reach their full potential. My motto? Information + emotion = communication that connects
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey to where I am now has not been a smooth road (and one with a lot of detours!), and I wouldn’t change it. My most significant area of growth has been gaining clarity. What do I want out of this career? What is my purpose of being a journalist? What am I willing to sacrifice (and more importantly, not sacrifice) for this career path? Every hard lesson l learn, and decision I make, I’ve gained a clearer understanding of not only what I wanted but how I wanted to achieve it. How I achieve success is now more important than what I achieve. Holding onto integrity and pure priorities as I walk this path means the world to me, especially as a mom to two children who I strive to be a role model for.
I’ve absolutely learned this lesson during my professional life. Never make a decision based on fear or doubt. I apply this to all aspects of my life. Take a beat, reflect and ask yourself the tough questions- why am I leaning towards making this decision? What is driving me towards this direction?
Another important lesson is knowing my worth. A lot of people will try and diminish your worth for their own benefit, but if you continue to show up with strength and have the work ethic to back that value up, they often will treat you in kind.
I have previously accepted jobs or decisions because I was too afraid to push back, to stand up for my worth, and out of fear that I truly wasn’t good enough for a better opportunity. Holding out for the right opportunity can be terrifying but can ultimately lead you to a place beyond your dreams. I applied that to my life, and look where I am! Incredibly fulfilled and blessed.

My professional passion is clear & powerful communication, and I am blessed in being able to pursue that passion on two fronts: one as a host of LiveNOW from FOX, and the other as a communications and media training coach. They each feed my singular purpose in different ways.
At LiveNOW from FOX, I focus on bringing our viewers major and compelling live events, and providing clear context and understanding. We “watch with” our viewers as significant live events are unfolding- without editing or opinion. I am incredibly proud of being part of the new & now streaming frontier that is all about our viewers.
At Stephanie Coueignoux Coaching, I focus on empowering my clients to effectively communicate their mission with power and purpose. I always say, through clarity comes confidence. In order to create true connection, it’s essential to communicate with clarity and confidence.
At the end of the day, if I can be a clear conduit of live and significant events and empower others to powerfully communicate their purpose, it’s a day well spent.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Everyone! From my family and friends, who have supported me every step of the way to those who didn’t believe I could achieve to the incredible individuals I’ve interviewed and coached. Every single person has be part of my journey and propelled me to where I am today.
