Exploring Life & Business with Romina Zain of Magic Holidays Travel Orlando

Today we’d like to introduce you to Romina Zain.

Hi Romina , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was born in Argentina, and my journey into the travel industry began after moving to the United States with my family. Travel was never just a job for me—it was always about connection, emotion, and the power of experiences to create lasting memories. I officially started working as a travel agent in 2016, and from the very beginning, I knew I wanted to do things differently.

In 2019, I founded Magic Holidays Travel Agency with a clear vision: to design tailor-made travel experiences that go far beyond booking flights or hotels. I wanted to build an agency inspired by the highest standards of service, attention to detail, and emotional connection—very much aligned with the philosophy of brands like Disney, where every detail matters and every guest experience is intentional.

The path hasn’t been linear. Like many businesses in tourism, we faced our biggest challenge during the pandemic, a moment that tested not only our structure but also our resilience, leadership, and ability to adapt. That period forced us to evolve, strengthen our processes, and truly define who we were as a company. What could have stopped us ultimately made us stronger.

Today, Magic Holidays is a growing, structured, and highly specialized travel agency with a team of over 120 passionate travel agents. I’m incredibly proud of the culture we’ve built—one based on professionalism, continuous training, teamwork, and a deep commitment to our clients. Looking back, every step, challenge, and decision shaped not only where we are today, but also the vision we have for the future: to keep creating meaningful travel experiences that stay with people long after the trip ends.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been an easy journey, but it has been an extremely formative one. As Magic Holidays continued to grow, the main challenge shifted from external circumstances to internal consolidation. Transforming an entrepreneurial project into a solid, organized, and scalable company required strategic decisions, clear processes, and a structure capable of sustaining long-term growth.

One of the most important lessons was understanding that growth is not just about adding people, but about building a strong culture, clearly defined roles, and shared standards. Professionalizing our operations, investing in continuous training, and developing internal systems were key steps that allowed us to operate today as a structured organization with over 120 agents aligned under a common vision.

Like the rest of the travel industry, the pandemic presented challenges, but it also accelerated changes we already knew were necessary. It pushed us to strengthen internal processes, improve communication, and reinforce trust—both within our team and with our clients.

Today, I see that journey as a period of true consolidation. Every decision, even the difficult ones, contributed to making Magic Holidays the strong, well-structured company it is today, with a clear identity and a solid foundation for sustainable growth.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Magic Holidays Travel Orlando ?
Magic Holidays Travel Agency is a Florida-based travel agency specialized in designing tailor-made travel experiences, with a strong focus on quality, structure, and personalized service. We don’t simply book trips—we create thoughtfully curated experiences built around each client’s needs, expectations, and travel style.

We are widely recognized for our expertise in destinations such as Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, and Disney Cruise Line, as well as cruise experiences with leading brands including Royal Caribbean, MSC Cruises, and Virgin Voyages. However, what truly sets us apart is not just the destinations or products we offer, but the way each trip is designed. Every itinerary is carefully structured, strategically planned, and crafted with a deep understanding of both the destination and the traveler.

We are also proud to be recognized as a Universal Orlando Resort Diamond Agency, the highest level an agency can achieve based on sales performance, product expertise, and long-term commitment to the brand. This distinction reflects not only our results, but also the trust placed in us by both our clients and our industry partners.

What differentiates Magic Holidays is our way of working: clear processes, continuous training, and a high standard of professionalism. With a team of over 120 trained travel agents, we operate as a structured organization aligned under a shared vision, allowing us to deliver consistent, high-quality service even as we continue to grow.

From a brand perspective, what I am most proud of is the culture we have built. Magic Holidays is rooted in trust, transparency, teamwork, and long-term relationships—both with our clients and within our team. We believe that a great travel experience begins long before the journey itself, through honest guidance, attention to detail, and a genuine understanding of what each traveler values.

What we want readers to know is that Magic Holidays represents a different way of approaching travel planning—one where expertise, structure, and human connection come together to create seamless, meaningful, and memorable travel experiences that last well beyond the return home.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is building something meaningful and sustainable—both for our clients and for the people who are part of Magic Holidays. I believe that true success isn’t measured only by growth, but by the impact we create through our work, the trust we build, and the standards we choose to uphold every day.

For our clients, that means honesty, care, and experiences designed with intention and attention to detail. For our team, it means clarity, structure, opportunities to grow, and a culture where professionalism and human connection coexist. I’m deeply motivated by creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and proud of the work they do.

At the end of the day, what matters most to me is knowing that everything we build—our brand, our processes, and our relationships—is guided by purpose, integrity, and a long-term vision, rather than short-term results.
