Hi the ladies of Fajas Comfort Fit, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Our compression garment business started as a true family legacy, passed down from my mother and aunts, who laid the foundation with years of hands-on experience, quality , and care. As the next generation, Sally and I saw an opportunity to expand that legacy into the post-operative space. We focused on understanding the specific protocols and preferences of each surgeon while always centering the unique needs of every client. By blending our family’s expertise with a modern, patient-focused approach, we’ve grown into Orlando’s one-stop shop for compression and post-op care, supporting clients throughout their recovery with knowledge, trust, and personalized care.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of our biggest obstacles was simply getting in the door. We knocked on many doors before reaching the right people, but that persistence taught us a lot about resilience and belief in our vision. Dr. Azad was the first to truly see our potential and gave us the opportunity to prove ourselves, which became a turning point for our business. From there, our relationships grew organically, and today we’re grateful to work alongside some of the top surgeons in Orlando, including Vado Plastic Surgery, Bassin Center, and Clark Aesthetics. Our growth has truly been a blessing, and we don’t take any of these partnerships for granted.
We’ve been impressed with Fajas Comfort Fit, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At the core of our business is one simple goal: to make every client feel comfortable, supported, and confident in their compression—whether they’re recovering from surgery, on a weight-loss journey, or preparing for a special occasion. We specialize in post-surgical compression and are known for our meticulous, hands-on fitting process. Every fitting is done with intention, taking into account the client’s body, procedure, stage of recovery, and specific surgeon protocols to ensure the ideal garment is selected from the start.
What truly sets us apart is our expertise and dedication to doing things the right way. There are no guessing games, no trial-and-error with cheap or ill-fitting garments. We educate our clients, listen to their concerns, and guide them through the entire compression journey. We also offer in-house alteration services, which allows us to adjust garments as the body changes throughout recovery—something that’s essential but often overlooked.
Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is the trust we’ve built. Our space is a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel heard, cared for, and supported during a very vulnerable time. We don’t just sell compression—we provide reassurance, knowledge, and continuity of care. How do you think about happiness?
What truly makes us happy is seeing our clients reach the other side of recovery feeling confident, comfortable, and loving their results. In many cases, we meet them as early as day one, when they’re at their most vulnerable. Being able to walk alongside them through that process and witness their transformation—both physically and emotionally—is the most rewarding part of what we do. Seeing their progress and knowing we played a role in making their recovery smoother makes every step of the journey worth it.
