Story & Lesson Highlights with Daniel Jude

Daniel Jude shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Daniel, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
The biggest thing right now has been Christianity. I get to serve on the worship team at Local Church in Mims, FL every Sunday. It has seriously grown me in so many ways! Outside of religion, music, and filming, my son and my girlfriend have brought me so much joy as well. I get to spend a lot of quality time with my son going on little adventures and creating lasting memories. The same goes for my girlfriend. Her being Viet, she’s introduced me to a lot of incredible food and culture that I’ve never been exposed to.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi I am Daniel Jude! I am a creator through and through. I write my own original music, perform regularly all over Florida, produce for artists, I am a part of the music worship team at Local Church in Mims, and I am the lead creative with my family’s marketing company Pirata Group Marketing (PGM).

Im currently writing original music for myself, producing original music for my church, filming a beautiful testimony segment for my church, and constantly creating and helping others bring their visions to life through music and video work.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
I have been serving as a musician on a worship team for Local Church in Mims, FL for a while. My good friend Tyler Bray is the worship leader for the band. The church and Tyler have really mentored me into growing my faith over the years and recently I was baptized. Seeing the world through the lens of Christianity has been so rewarding. It goes into everything I do, especially working with others to help them bring their ideas & projects to life.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
In May 2023 all in the same week I found out I had cancer and my fiance at the time split our engagement. I was devastated. I had to piece my life back together one day at a time and be strong for my son. What truly healed my wounds was my faith and my will to be a great example for my son. I got more involved with church, I made it a point to continue to create lasting memories with my son every time I was with him, and pushed forward trying to find inspiration to create again. It really took a while to find that spark again in music, but I finally have it. I’ve been performing regularly at places like Space Bar in Titusville, FL, Daytona Beach Hard Rock, Viera city events to name a few. Having a creative partner really helped bring me out of the rut as well. Angie Nguyen is a tattoo artist with Soma Tattoo in Apopka, FL. Her being an artist and me a creative has really helped spark inspiration again.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
I would say my dad. He has guided me with so many decisions that I’ve made in my life. Whether its music related, marketing, filming. You name it, he’s guided me with his ideas.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I truly believe I’m doing what I was born to do. I’ve been gifted the ability to really understand a person’s intentions and goals. Through that understanding I’m able to convey their vision beautifully whether it’s through video or music. I’m thankful that I operator a studio Electric Temple Studios, where I can produce music for clients. And lucky that I can create videos for clients as well with PGM.
