An Inspired Chat with Barbara Charles of South Orlando/ Kissimmee

Barbara Charles shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Barbara, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
The thing that I am most proud of building that nobody sees is my character. I’m proud of the person I am because of my healing journey. I am proud of my resilience and perseverance despite anything I endured. Most importantly I am proud of the impact I made on people that I have met and the impact that have made on me as well.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, my name is Barbara Charles and I’m from the beautiful state of Florida. My business name is Triple B, it was birth in May of 2020 and I didn’t get to operate it until 2022. About my business, it is focus on health and wellness and fitness I help people with flexibility, getting back into shape, maintaining, staying active and also helping them heal through emotional, physical, or spiritual things that they’re going through. Currently I am working on a book that will help individuals live a healthy eating lifestyle through structure, discipline and adaptation. I have saw and lived through what an active lifestyle could do for you, I’m living proof and I want to make sure everyone who comes in contact with my business that it has a life changing impact on their lives too.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The old me.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, last year. I thought that I was supposed to give up my business but the Holy Spirit gave me revelation to not give up but to rebrand myself. Sometimes we think it’s us giving up but it’s just the old you being released to make room for the new version of yourself.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
My business growing and flourishing. Just me overall growing as a person be and continuing to make an impact on people. To show them that Christ changed me for the better, I’m far from perfect but I know this journey is deeper than me.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I was a funny, genuine caring person who loved to help people but stood my ground when it came to my growth. That I didn’t want in perfection but more so growth. That I made an impact on them even if it was in the smallest way. But the credit doesn’t go to me but all the glory goes to Christ.
