Today we’d like to introduce you to Rev. Dr. Paul Meckes.
Hi Rev. Dr. Paul, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Dr. Meckes is a #1 bestselling author of The Great Awakening, an ordained minister, and a metaphysician with nearly three decades of academic research and study. He earned his Ph.D. in Metaphysical Science, graduating summa cum laude, and received his ordination through the Institute of Metaphysical Humanistic Science and the priesthood of the Order of Melchizedek.
During his doctoral work, Dr. Meckes founded the Clermont Paranormal and Metaphysical Research Society, a collaborative network dedicated to exploring noetic science and the intersection of scientific disciplines. His work focuses on advancing the understanding of consciousness, the human experience, and paranormal phenomena, earning recognition across both spiritual and scientific communities.
He has lectured and taught at respected institutions and conferences, including Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp, the Chapel of Spiritual Light, the Institute of Noetic Sciences of Central Florida, and the Para-Unity Conference, where he presented on quantum physics and the paranormal. His insights have been featured across multiple radio programs and podcasts.
A certified spiritualist and psychic medium, Dr. Meckes received certification through the American Spiritualist Association under the mentorship of the late Reverend Benjamin R. Cox, and later served as interim pastor of the Chapel of Spiritual Light. He has also pursued advanced studies in psychical research through the Morris Pratt Institute.
Dr. Meckes is the founder, host, and producer of Conscious Radio Network, where he leads a weekly podcast exploring consciousness, spirituality, anomalous phenomena, and the evolving human condition.
In recent years, his work has reached an even broader audience—featured across major affiliate networks including NBC, CBS, and ABC. In 2026, he serves as a content creator for Ethereal Networks Television, is a collaborative author with Soulful Valley Publishing, and nominee for Author of the Year at the International Impact Book Awards in Los Angeles, California. He has also been invited as a two-time guest speaker for Spirit World Travel, hosted by Spirit Heart Cruises in partnership with Royal Caribbean, with appearances in 2025 and soon in 2027.
In 2023, Dr. Meckes was honored with a nomination to Marquis Who’s Who in America, recognizing his professional achievements and contributions to society.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For the most part, the journey has been a smooth one. However, many of the challenges along the way have involved adapting to rapidly evolving technology and navigating what appears to be a gradual decline in public engagement with spiritual and metaphysical discussions. Conversations surrounding these subjects often seem less common than they once were, while the paranormal continues to be viewed by many as either a taboo topic or something reserved for casual discussion in social settings.
As a result, I shifted my focus toward consciousness studies. While firmly rooted in the spiritual and metaphysical traditions, consciousness research offers an opportunity to explore many of the same fundamental questions through a broader and more accessible framework, helping bring these important conversations into the mainstream.

From an early age and throughout my teenage and young adult years, creativity has been a constant force in my life. Whether through graphic design, photography, video production, broadcasting, drawing, or painting, I have always been drawn to creative expression. At the same time, I developed a deep fascination with spirituality, metaphysics, consciousness, and the paranormal—subjects that inspired me to explore life’s deeper questions and mysteries.
It was during the pursuit of my master’s and doctoral studies that I recognized an opportunity to bring these passions together. In 2015, I founded Conscious Radio Network as a platform to unite my interests in media, education, and consciousness exploration while creating meaningful conversations that could inspire and empower others.
Since its inception, Conscious Radio Network has been dedicated to fostering global well-being by emphasizing the interconnected nature of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
