Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariyon Johnson.

Hi Ariyon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I got started in July 2019. I would say the time period of my life wasn’t the best mentally and just emotionally and I needed an outlet and I turned to nails. I got a $50 Amazon kit and I just practiced day and night on myself on my younger siblings Started filming and creating content around doing nails just for fun and it has blown up in ways. I never thought it would seven years later.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I wouldn’t say that the road was rocky, but it has been a few ups and downs throughout my career and journey with different spaces communities and or people I would say one of the biggest challenges I’ve had to navigate is working from my home to then transitioning to salon atmospheres and not having the best experiences throughout.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
So I am a licensed nail technician of seven years and a content creator. I specialize in acrylic and natural nail care. In addition to that. I create beauty, lifestyle, and educational videos from my personal and business life. I would say I am most proud of is having the opportunities to work with award winning brands like SALT.XO, and MarkarttPro believe in me to be apart of their story.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I would say the best thing about my city is that it’s so diverse there’s a community for literally anything and everyone no matter if you are new to the city and you can’t make friends there’s so many social clubs you can join to run clubs, beautiful churches, kid, friendly experiences. Orlando is truly a gem
