Hi Corvette, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always believed that some of our greatest purposes are born from our most difficult seasons. For me, that season came after the birth of my first child when I experienced postpartum depression. During that time, I realized how important genuine connection and community are. My cousin and I started intentionally spending time together through what we called our “cousin dates.” What began as simple moments to catch up, laugh, and spend quality time together became a source of healing for me. Those experiences showed me the power of connection and planted the seed for what would eventually become Bloom & Blossom Social.
Professionally, I spent 12 years working in healthcare, where I had the privilege of caring for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. That experience deepened my passion for serving others and reinforced the importance of compassion, empathy, and meeting people where they are. Eventually, I felt called to step away from that career and pursue a vision that would allow me to impact people in a different way.
As a proud Space Coast native, I wanted to create something that would strengthen the community that helped shape me. Alongside my co-founder, Amber Baker, Bloom & Blossom Social has grown into more than an event business. We’ve created a community where women can connect, support one another, collaborate, prioritize wellness, and build meaningful relationships. We’ve also partnered with local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders to create experiences that make a lasting impact. Not only do we have Bloom and Blossom Social but we also have Bloom and Blossom Social Foundation. So many wonderful things have come to pass but I will leave it to Amber to tell that story.
I’m committed to continuing my own growth. In the future, I plan to further my education in business marketing and graphic design and pursue my Certified Community Health Worker certification so I can continue bringing greater value to the business and the community we serve.
Looking back, I’m grateful that one of the hardest chapters of my life became the beginning of something that now brings hope, connection, and opportunity to so many women. My journey has taught me that healing can become purpose, and purpose has the power to transform communities.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has shaped who I am as a leader and strengthened Bloom & Blossom Social.
One of the biggest leaps was walking away from a 12-year career in healthcare to pursue something I believed could make a different kind of impact. Starting a business from the ground up without a blueprint meant learning everything as I went. There were moments of self-doubt, financial uncertainty, and the reality of balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood, family responsibilities, and everyday life.
Like many small business owners, there have been times when I’ve questioned whether I was doing enough or whether people truly understood the vision. Building a community takes time, consistency, and trust. Every event, partnership, and opportunity has required intentional planning, personal investment, and faith in the mission, even when the outcome wasn’t guaranteed.
What has kept me going is seeing the impact. Hearing women say they felt seen, made new friendships, found encouragement, or simply realized they weren’t alone reminds me why this work matters. Those moments make every challenge worthwhile.
I’ve learned that success isn’t measured only by growth or numbers. It’s measured by the lives you touch, the relationships you build, and the positive impact you leave behind. Every obstacle has reinforced my commitment to creating spaces where women feel connected, supported, and empowered, and that purpose continues to guide every step forward.

Bloom & Blossom Social is more than an event company—we’re a community built on connection, intention, and meaningful experiences. We specialize in curating experiences that bring women together through wellness, networking, personal growth, creativity, and community engagement. Every event is thoughtfully designed to create genuine conversations, lasting relationships, and opportunities to support one another.

As we continue to grow, our vision is to become a recognized leader in community-centered experiences throughout Florida and beyond while staying true to the heart of why Bloom & Blossom Social was created—to cultivate connection, inspire growth, and remind every woman that she belongs.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I don’t know that I would define my journey as success just yet because I believe there’s still so much work to be done. To me, this journey is about being faithful to the purpose I’ve been given and continuing to grow every step of the way.
If I had to choose one quality that has carried me this far, it would be intentionality. I believe meaningful impact doesn’t happen by chance. It comes from being intentional about how you serve people, build relationships, and show up for your community. Every decision I make is guided by a simple question: “How can this create a positive impact?”
I’m always learning, listening, and looking for ways to improve. Whether it’s through Bloom & Blossom Social, future education, or strengthening community partnerships, I never want to become comfortable. I want to continue blooming so I can better serve others, grow as a leader, and create even greater opportunities for the women and communities we serve.
For me, success isn’t a destination—it’s having the opportunity to keep showing up, keep blooming, and continue creating spaces where people feel connected, valued, and inspired. As long as there’s more work to be done in our community, I’ll continue doing my part to help cultivate it.
