Meet Annick Cole of Orlando

Today we’d like to introduce you to Annick Cole.

Annick, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always been a creative person from a young age. Growing up, I loved painting, taking pictures, creating things, and finding different ways to express myself. I also naturally found myself planning events for my friends and sometimes my family, whether it was a birthday, celebration, or just a special gathering. Over time, those little passions grew into something much bigger. I realized that creativity wasn’t just something I enjoyed, it was something I wanted to build a career and business around. Today, I’m continuing to turn the things I’ve always loved into opportunities through event planning, photography, and design, while creating experiences and memories that people can truly enjoy and remember.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road. There have been many moments of self-doubt where I questioned whether I was good enough or if my ideas would actually go anywhere. I’ve also experienced creative blocks, where I knew I wanted to create something but struggled to find the inspiration or motivation to bring my ideas to life. Another challenge has been finances, because pursuing your passion often requires investing in equipment, materials, and resources before you see the return. Through it all, I’ve learned to be patient with myself, keep pushing forward, and trust the process. Most importantly, I know that no matter how difficult the road gets, I will always have God to guide me, give me strength, and remind me not to give up on the purpose He has placed in me.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Ann’s Designs is a creative business built around three things I love most: photography, event planning, and Christian apparel. Through photography, I specialize in capturing genuine moments and creating images that allow people to hold onto special memories. With event planning, I love bringing ideas to life and creating celebrations that feel personal, intentional, and memorable. Through my Christian apparel, I create designs that encourage people, share faith, and remind them of God’s love and promises.

What I’m most proud of is all of my work, whether it’s something big or something small. Every project represents an idea that someone trusted me to bring to life, and I take pride in putting my heart into each one. I don’t measure success only by the size of the project, but by the impact it has and the memories it creates.

What sets Ann’s Designs apart is that I’m not just trying to provide a service—I’m trying to capture, create, and celebrate your special moments. I want people to feel like their ideas, memories, and stories matter. I bring my own creativity and personal touch into everything I do, while continuing to grow, learn, and find new ways to turn ordinary moments into something meaningful. At the heart of Ann’s Designs, my goal is to create something that people can look back on and say, “I’m so glad I trusted her with this.”

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
My happiness comes from God, and because of Him, I strive to be a light and a source of sunshine to the people around me. I believe He uses me, my creativity, and my gifts to reach others, encourage them, and remind them that there is always hope.
