Hidden Gems: Meet Kamini Singh of KrS Passions LLC.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kamini Singh.

Hi Kamini, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Kamini Singh, the youngest of three sisters, and my journey began with challenges that shaped my purpose long before I understood them. When I was born, I lost oxygen with the cord wrapped around my neck. At ten months old, I was diagnosed with epilepsy, and throughout my childhood I struggled with comprehension, testing, and the uncertainty of what my future would look like.

By the grace of God, I grew out of epilepsy at eight years old, but the emotional impact stayed with me. I often felt different, misunderstood, and overlooked because of my health. Those feelings followed me into my teenage years and early adulthood.

I was told that having children might be difficult for me, so I wanted to do things “the right way.” I married at twenty‑two, and one year later, on April Fools’ Day – I found out I was pregnant. Today, my daughter is fourteen and just started high school. She is my joy, my peace, and my greatest blessing. Our bond is unbreakable.

But my marriage was not built on love , it was built on comfort, fear, and the desire to be accepted. My daughter’s father was someone I knew from high school, and when his mother recognized me years later at the tech school I attended, she reconnected us while he was deployed in Afghanistan as a Navy Corpsman. The calls, the conversations, the attention – it all felt like something I had been missing. I married for safety, not for partnership.

Over time, I felt alone, depressed, and lost. I tried to hold on, but eventually I had to choose myself. Leaving was painful, but it was also the beginning of my awakening.

My “why” became clear: God was shaping me through every struggle, every misunderstanding, every moment I felt unseen. He was preparing me to stand in my purpose.

Today, I am a businesswoman of God -a mentor, a teacher, and a healer through movement and wellness. I teach Ballet, Jazz, Beam, and fitness fundamentals to students across Orlando, pouring mentorship, scripture, and encouragement into every lesson. I also run a natural cleansing juice line called Arise Juice, under my business KrS Passions LLC. My two flavors -The Beet Bounce and Celery Energizer started from my own battles with bloating and inflammation. Now they are blessing families, friends, and communities from the inside out.

I stand with God in the vision He gave me. I strive for success, and I am walking boldly in the calling placed on my life. My daughter and my father have witnessed every step of my growth. Others may see me, but not truly understand me, and that’s okay. Everyone’s journey is different, and not everyone can accept your growth when they are still searching for their own.

I am grateful for life because I have survived so much. I have been in three car accidents — one that could have taken my life. But God kept me. The enemy has tried to break me for years, but I am still here, standing, thriving, and rising.

My story is not just my past – it is my testimony, my fuel, and my purpose.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was difficutl from the beggining, because I entered life fighting, oxygen loss, cord around my neck, and Epilepsy at ten months. I grew up feeling “different”, misunderstood, and sometimes felt overlooked. I carried fear as I became older, because I never knew when I would zone out, fall out, and be safe in the moves I made. I was carrying the weight of motherhood and marriage at the same time and protecting my child from what I struggled with even with her father before divorce came. Her father was bipolar, and very verbal abusive. I have dealt with body pain over the years, so I am constantly doing Physical Therapy.
