Today we’d like to introduce you to Valentina Urbina.
Hi Valentina, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hello! My name is Valentina Urbina. At the moment, I’m a 20-year-old college student whose dream is to have a successful career in the fashion industry world for as long as I can remember. Since I was a little girl, I’ve always liked art in general and for me, fashion more than art is my biggest dream and passion. After a long time thinking about how I could start, I decided to create an Instagram account dedicated to my project @byvalentinaurbina where I love to share my favorite outfits, lifestyle, and much more!
One of the goals I wanted to achieve for myself for this year was to let go all my fears and start working on something that I felt passionate about. I have lived in Orlando for five years, and moving here gave a completely unexpected turn to my life it forced me to leave my comfort zone but I am very grateful because all that taught me to be a more mature and independent person even though I am only 20 years old. I have always liked art very much in every way I think that is due to the millions of classes and activities in which my mom put me as a child, but without a doubt, fashion is my favorite and for that and many other reasons, I decided to start this journey in order to be able to organize my ideas better to be able to fulfill them without excuses, limits, or fears and transmit this same feeling to my followers!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I believe that no path is easy, there are always things that demotivate us and that cause us to put our dreams aside. For a long time I was afraid to start my project because of what other people would say and unnecessary excuses. Today I still work on overcoming those fears but the most important thing is not to put limitations on ourselves or doubting our dreams and what we are capable of achieving by constantly working on what we are passionate about.

I am currently working to make my passion become my career. From a very young age, I have felt a great interest in art but more specifically in the fashion industry. I like to make and create trends. In addition to that, I also really like to share my lifestyle on my Instagram @byvalentinaurbina since I also post about what I like to do on a regular day, such as exercising and creating healthy food recipes.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something that would surprise many people about me is that I really like to make desserts and decorate them. I am still learning but it is an activity that entertains me and de-stresses me at the same time. I love to bake!
