Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Sanchez Canelones.
Hi Jessica, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Jessica Sanchez, I am from Venezuela and I emigrated to the United States, specifically to Orlando, Florida, approximately four years ago. As many immigrants will be able to identify themselves, I had to start from scratch in a new country and leave behind my professional career, in my case as a lawyer, in my native country.
I have always liked serving and helping others, and that is why I was interested in the insurance market, being able to offer a health plan that guarantees people peace of mind for themselves and their families definitely gratifies me for sure. Getting to where I am today has been a day-to-day work of perseverance and dedication, and it is for that I, without a doubt, believe that with hard effort, you can achieve everything you set your mind to.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting a business from scratch has never been an easy thing to do that can be scary for a lot of people. For my own part, my biggest concern was being in a different country with a language that I barely knew but now I can proudly say that I’m able to expand and offer my services in different languages such as English, Spanish and Portuguese. I think challenges are a great motivation for learning new things and help you evolve into a better version of yourself. You just have to understand how to take advantage of your limitations and overcome them.

Sanchez Insurance is a family-owned company, where we take care of handling and selling insurance policies in all its different areas, that being health insurance, auto, business, home… We’ll always make sure to find a perfect match for you that will adjust to what you are looking for.
We are also licensed to work in several states in addition to Florida, such as Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah, California, and Illinois. It certainly makes me feel extremely proud to be able to help families from different states as well, while also at the same time doing it together with my own family.
What matters most to you?
The most important thing for me is to offer a good service and find a perfect match that will adjust to the situation and needs of each and every single one of my clients. Being responsible and true is what has allowed me to grow in this competitive market and also create that special connection with them.
