Meet Demetrius Bethea of Classroom Ten

Today we’d like to introduce you to Demetrius Bethea.

Hi Demetrius, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I began my journey almost five years ago at 23 conducting business in workforce development and project management in the tech space after going through years of frustration with Big Tech and the antiquated practices that were no longer relevant to an evolving world. What was once effective needed change to continue to have the intended impact on consumers. After many successful moments and many trials and tribulations, I transitioned to focusing all of my energy on building my own SaaS platform, “Classroom Ten,” available now in the App Store to provide our customer a safe, easy to use platform for them to share their experiences whether professional or personal with their audience and be compensated fairly regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not. I’ve went through a roller coaster of emotions on this journey. Some days I was motivated and some days I felt defeated but every day I woke up and walked in my purpose, the consistency is what I found to be the most important in entrepreneurship because tough times are inevitable.

We’ve been impressed with Classroom Ten, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Classroom Ten is an app available now in the AppStore built for the creators and entrepreneurs. We made it with the creator in mind every step of the way. The investment is only $10 a month to rent a virtual classroom each month that allows you to go live with video or audio and charge whatever you see fit for other to enter your room. We LOVE people and pride ourselves on building a diverse and inclusive place for creators to expand their brand and foster deeper relationships with their audience.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I’ve learned that gratitude is important; in western civilization, we take so many things for granted, including but not limited to freedom. I am truly grateful for everything these days; waking up, going to the gym, going to a restaurant, everyday is a blessing
