Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Brewer.
Hi Hannah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Several years ago, I picked up my life and moved to Orlando from my small hometown in Maryland. I had just received the call that I would be starting my meeting job at Walt Disney World, and I was over the moon.
Fast forward three years, and a lot of magic later, COVID-19 changed my plans. My time at Disney had come to an end in the blink of an eye and I wasn’t sure what was to be in store for my future. At the time, my fiancé had a small Nikon D7500 camera that was purchased for fun. After some experimenting and practicing with friends, I started to find a passion and love for the art of capturing moments, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to do so full-time today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My job at Disney came to an end more abruptly than I had hoped for, but I believe that everything happens for a reason and that God is good. Today I am thankful to be where I am, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
First and foremost, I am a natural light photographer. I specialize in couples, weddings, and engagements, but I also do a little bit of everything! I photograph families, newborns, graduations, modeling portfolios, and other events. I am proud to be a woman-owned small business owner and to be operating not only in Orlando but in other locations across the east coast!
What makes you happy?
Love makes me happy. As simple as it sounds, it’s one of the many reasons I love my job. I love capturing love and all that it entails. It’s unique in every relationship, and I am thankful to have a front-row seat to it almost every day. My fiancé and I are a military couple and spend a lot of time apart, so I understand what it means to love someone wholeheartedly no matter how much time and distance come between you.
