Meet Hope Kordalski

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hope Kordalski.

Hi Hope, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started taking photos as a kid. My family would let me use their cameras; I got cameras as gifts. I loved taking pictures with friends and of family. My love for being able to capture a moment grew, especially when camera phones became a big thing. My senior year my uncle passed away, and I was given his DSLR camera. It was my first one. Learning how to use it opened up new doors for me.

Along with new goals and dreams. I am still on my way towards my big dreams, which involve traveling around the world and taking photos. At the moment, I have my own photography business. I love being able to capture moments for people. I shoot many different types of sessions. My favorites are wedding, and couple sessions, because I am a romantic at heart. I hope to continue to take photos for as long as I can. Hopefully, along this journey, I continue to learn and get to experience new places.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I am pretty lucky since my first two weddings were within my first year of doing photography professionally. Other than that, I have definitely known some struggles. In the beginning, money is definitely an issue; photography equipment is expensive. Plus I told myself when 2020 started, it was going to be the year I got my business idea off the ground. I did, but it was hard and very limited because of covid.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a photographer; sometimes, it is hard to know who to pick when looking to hire a photographer. I think one of my biggest selling points is that I am great with people. I go into each session with the passion and want to creative beautiful pictures. I believe pictures are memories frozen in time. Life can move on, people can move on, but you will always have photos. Also, I am very down to earth; I have had many clients say they felt so comfortable with me and didn’t expect to laugh as much as they did. Those reviews make me just as happy as ones that say that they loved the photos.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
They can follow me on Facebook, Instagram or if interested, book a session through my website. My Instagram is: @hopekphoto

I always ask family and clients to share posts if they can or leave reviews of sessions. Photography is best supported through sharing and word of mouth!
